I guess this is you "not blaming the refs."

Coming from a Lakers fan, whose team was HANDED game 7 in 2010 by the refs....that's rich.

I haven't watched an NBA game since they flat out cheated the Celtics out of a title in that game. They vastly outplayed the lakers and made up calls to get the Lakers to the FT line.

But you haven't watched an NBA game since. :pound:

I've been following the NBA since 1970. I've never seen a Celtics fan simply say "Good game." It's always the refs fault.

The first 6 games were fine. Hell the first 2.5 quarters of game 7 were fine.

The last 1.5 was an embarrassment to the game of basketball.

Oh wait, there is nothing more lame than blaming the refs for a loss.

well, if we're bringing up THAT series again yeah I DO remember Perkins being hurt. think Bynum was too at the time...

Yeah, I remember when Celtics fans used to blame Perkins injury. Then they were reminded that in 2008, the Lakers were without Bynum and Ariza.

I guess they've gone back to "the refs screwed us." :pound:

Haven't seen it yet. If they do, I'll mock them just like I'm doing to you right now.

That's how this whole thread started.

Laker fans claiming this past game 3 was fixed.

And i just reminded them they can't call fix, because they had a game freaking 7 fixed for them.

I agree. The Celtics should be very embarrassed about how badly they played in that last 1.5 quarters. It cost them the championship.

The problem with you is you did not something True Laker Fan said. He is a clown so not sure why you even took offense to that. It was a stupid post by him but we're all used to that by now

Ok so Game 3 was good, that being said they need the same mindset in Game 4 then they did in Game 3. I think the smaller lineup really did help the Cavs. Jefferson was a spark plug in his all-around game I loved the way he played. Lebron did attack more, even though he missed easy shots early he found his jumpshot, and that could be a key in the series. Then we saw the Cavs actually playing good defense throughout the game and Kyrie and J.R. were hitting shots. TT was grabbing boards and outworking GS's bigs.

It is crazy basically these whole playoffs or the last two rounds the home team has blown out the opponent. To see the Cavs play like they did the first 2 games and now this game is crazy. It comes down to defensive intensity and making shots.

Moving on to Game 4, another must win for the Cavs.

Another thing is if Love is ready to comeback in either Game 4 or Game 5, bring him off the bench and let him play against the Warriors backups. They need to realize this lineup worked for them.

Also, when Lebron guards Curry it's like Curry isn't even on the court.

If it well deserved im ok with it. In this case Cavs played their best game and GS played their worst. that was the 1 fluke game i was counting on for the Cavs. Thats why I have them in 5. I expect GS to go crazy in game 4.

Overall, it was some pretty ugly basketball by both teams last night.

Having said that, the Cavs came out and played with some real desperation and more sustained energy than they have in probably any playoff game so far. When the Warriors closed to within 9, the Cavs seemed to lose their energy and it looked like they were going to fold.

To their credit, they were able to regain that energy and sustain it for the rest of the game. I still don't think they can win the series, because beating the Warriors 4 out of 5 is probably too much to ask. But at least they won't be going down without a fight.

I would bring him off the bench. He would be the #1 option on the 2nd unit.

Cavs defense has been good all series long. What changed was the Cavs offense / warriors defense.

Winning game 3 is not an adequate response to the first 2 games. Winning 3 & 4 would be.

Game 4 is a huge opportunity.

The only reason I have hope for the Cavs now is bc Love was out. That sounds bad, but it gets other guys into the game and is a better matchup against the Warriors small lineup. It still comes to hitting shots though and the Cavs did that in Game 3. I know it's only one game though. 3 more to go.
