as an athlete, and as a champion, the number he's delivered, etc I doubt anyone here has taken anything away from the guy...

Of course you don't have to like him. None of any of this matters one bit. In the context of arguing about sports, my take is that there are those that just don't like the guy personally so they make bad arguments about why he's not as good as he actually is.

If they would just say what you said, that they don't like him but that he's a terrific player, there wouldn't be much to argue about.

Personally I like the guy, he's a positive person, funny and engaging. He's not a stone cold asshole like Kobe or MJ. He's closer to Shaq in temperament.

Lebron had a hand in everything that happened in cleveland the last two years. He may not have had the "final say" but it was a clear cut case of 'Do what I want or I walk'
