Bobby Carpenter, a bust for the Dallas Cowboys.

He might come back; saw an article a few months back that said he wanted to get his personal life straightened out but he felt like football had a place in his future. Prime of our lives is the late 20's :noidea:

Hope so. I read that article and what gives me hope is that he plans to stay out of Decatur completely and doesn't even stay there to visit with his kid, gets a room outside of town instead.

I grew up there and I also do the same thing. I near refuse to go into that city anymore. I visit outside of town where my mom lives and that's it.

That city is nothing but trouble.

I was never sure about Dayne. He was like a lot of other dominant college RBs. Didn't work quite as hard in the offseason, got to accustomed to being a manchild. Still think he would have been a great Steeler but they slready had Bettis.

Bryant had amazing talent, but I don't know if he loved football.

So Erasmus James was the one that dissapointed me the most. I just don't think he ever really recovered from that hip injury. Our staff probably should have made him sit some games back in 04. He had that elite edge rush hybrid capability. Again, he's another one who shoulda been a Steeler.

Which is why Erasmus James isn't the one that dissapointed me most, I thought he was probably facing a tough climb back from his injury. I said Gabe Carimi for the exact reason you said for Wendell Bryant, Gabe could still be good, but I feel like he doesn't love football and doesn't take it seriously.

I also feel bad for Bradie Ewing, I believe 2 years and 2 rough knee injuries.

LOL My list is long, but it' currently headed by Case Keenum. He has really had a nice opportunity over the past month to take firm grasp of the Texans' starting QB gig. After a promising start, however, I'm not at all convinced that he's going to take advantage of his chance.

closest one for us is Kyle Wilson, I thought he'd be a shutdown corner in the NFL

but he's been a disappointment, gets burned on occasion with the Jets, and I don't think he's higher than 3rd on the depth chart. Maybe its because its the Jets

David Greene, David Pollack would have been great if not for a career ending injury

LaVar Arrington. Had a very solid first 6 years (minus 1 for injury), signed a 7 yr deal for 50 million, ruptured his achilles, then retired.

Probably the most talented LB PSU ever had, including Navarro Bowman.

Probably Chase Coffman.

I doubt many people had high expectations for Blaine Gabbert

Isn't Andre Ware the Houston choice? His failure is already established

Billy McMullen

Broke all Herman Moore's records at UVA. Dropped his first pass in the pros then all but disappeared.
