I am game. I can do the updates every week. The work to put them in is easier now that the layout is established. The problem is it might be too much work for Joe if he has to keep changing them every week.

I'll send mine to you and to Joe mid-next week. I'll be out of town for about a week after that. ... so you guys keep it going. Any votes, I'll give my proxy to Bandit. ....

My Page

Foot,

My page looks great, but on the home page instead of it just saying The Bandit, can it say Smoke from the Bandit, keeping with the theme of the rest of your pages? Thanks and good work this weekend.

Also, for the rankings, I agree that we need to update, Joe what is the easiest way for us to do the update to make it easier on you? The excel sheet that you sent us is great for consensus, but not for updating. Should I just continue to use the old excel sheet that I originally sent you and just update it, or is there a different sheet that you created that would make life easier for you when we send you the updates?

Like you said, there's no easy way. Just send me your updated lists in any format - Word, Excel, Notepad, even just a list in email.

What would help: if you just plan on moving around a few players (or even a dozen or so), then just give me their new ranking number and I'll move everyone else. Savvy?

For example, say you want to bump Ed Dickson up to 174, then I'll move everyone else down. If you want to drop Joe Flacco down to 139, then I'll shift everyone else up. If you want to drop Harvin down to 80 (or 180), same thing.

I also plan on removing Pitta and Maclin from everyone's list. Unless some of you are psychotically optimistic?

You guys laugh, but a couple guys still had Crabtree in their top 200 (even if he was down pretty low). Even if he did come back in week 14 - which is probably a playoff week in FF - are you starting Crabtree after coming off a severe injury and not playing all season long? I'm not.

Again...

My work schedule might be tight this week so try to get me your updates by Friday.

And really, if you're only updating a dozen guys and not making major ranking adjustments, it would go much faster if you just list the few players and their new ranking.

I'm good with removing Maclin, Pita and Crabby for now. Just move everybody up and I'll adjust for next week.

May want to hold off on dropping Harvin until Tomorrow night - -

From Rotoworld;
SI's Peter King expects Percy Harvin (hip) to be ready for Week 1.

He's just guessing, though King says the "usually conservative Seahawks doctors" don't consider Harvin's injury season-threatening. Harvin is getting a second opinion from a hip specialist on Tuesday. We should get a much better idea of Harvin's status within the next 48 hours.

Bandit I add the smokey part no problem.

personally I get the feeling Percey Harvin will play. Maybe it's just wishful thinking because I was so looking forward to watching what he could do with a lights out QB like Russell.

Wow Will, I just noticed you had Percy Harvin ranked number 2 for all wide receivers. I can't beleive I didn't notice that earlier since I have checked this list 1000 times all ready. Obviously with the injury that will change but can you tell me why you are so high on him or were so high on him. I was high on him too but I only had him at 4 lol. I guess like me you love first nam Russell, last name Wilson!

If you look, I had Wilson at 4. The Seahawks O evolved over the season last year, moving from Lynch's team to Wilson's. This was a little obscured because Lynch got crazy stats with limited touches in the second half, but the pass/run ratio changed a lot. Wilson did extremely well in the second half from a fantasy perspective, and that's without a ton of help from rushing TDs (only had 4 on the season) so he should have been able to approach those second-half numbers again, especially with the addition of Harvin.

I think he's a very good passer, and Carroll likes to think outside the box, so I expected quite a lot from Harvin.

If Harvin is out for an extended period, I'll drop Wilson down a little.

HeyJoe, I'm going to be making some pretty major changes in my rankings; I should be finished tonight (the only reason I say major is I'm moving a few guys up and a few down and will probably change my top 200 a lot)................now not "Foot" type changes where guys will be moving 30 spots but probably like 10 guys moving anywhere from 3-5 spots. Will be mostly RB's but it will have an effect on the top 200. You just let me know when you want them and poof, they will arrive.

That's fine Doug, and Sam. I haven't updated anything yet. Was kind of waiting to hear more about Harvin myself.

What do you guys think an operated out for most of the season Percy harvin is worth in a full IDP keeper league. Do you guys think Emannual Sanders, Miles Austin, and Lance Briggs is too much to pay for Harvin now that he will under go surgery?

I was never a big fan of Harvin. Probably because his migraines and playing status was always a question mark. Who wants to have that problem every Sunday morning?

I actually started to buy into his new digs in Seattle, despite the fact that he's never cracked the 1K mark. Then came the news on his hip. As Vinny Gambini said, "I got no more use for dis guy."
