Is the Watson/Taylor ranking an average between the two?

More or less. I have no idea if Watson is gonna be allowed to play this year. Just plopped them in the middle somewhere.

Solid list, as I do not have any glaring issues with it.

Mayfield and Garapolo/Lance may be a bit high, and Prescott a bit low.

If the whole 6-12 group dropped down below the 13-16 group I'd like it more...

Yeah, I didn't even notice Stafford below JimmyG. I'd go no there for sure.

Top 5 ok, but LOL Mayfield at 6.
You could argue Lamar, Murray or even Tannehill over Baker but it’s not like it isn’t close. Lamar still struggles to throw the ball. Murray got a star WR and sorta regressed. He is the one that would most likely be above Baker. Tannehill has played like a pro-bowler, he’s definitely a sleeper. I think most would agree that Baker throws the best out of all of these guys though and he bounced back. He will definitely even a top 6-7 QB if he can ball this year but like I said, I have no issues dropping him back to about 8. I’m not putting Lamar over him though.

Pretty decent list. I agree with most of the comments above. 27-29 would have been my bottom 3. I'd swap Tagovailoa and Burrows.

Stafford - 74-90-1
Jimmy G - 24-8

Stafford isn’t good enough to shine Jimmy G’s helmet.
Pretty sure Stafford wins more games this year than Grop. Also, I think you put Stafford on the Chargers.

And Wilson's probably a few spots high.

If anything Wilson might be too low

Stafford could go 17-0 and still not have as good a winning percentage as Jimmy G. Jimmy G is the superior QB.

Yeah, it's fun playing on good teams. Those 32 starts came over 7 years in the league, and 13 wins in the same season. Stafford had 5 4000+ yd seasons by then.

But I get it, it's about now. Garropollo started 6 games last year, and is set to be replaced. MS threw for 4000 yds again. Stafford is going to have a better season than JG, too. That's like a prediction.

It is. What’s the Niners excuse for going 7-27 since 2017, the year they acquired Jimmy G, when he doesn’t start? You can use the “bad team” excuse all you want for Stafford. It very easily applies to SF as well when you consider how bad they were when JG missed time.

He would if Jimmy went 0-17!

JG's record v. SF's record without him is pretty striking, I gotta admit.

Wilson's best assets are staying on the field, consistency across his game, and not throwing INTs. He's a routinely top-10 QB, but the young guys are just crazy good. He'll have a tough time keeping up with Mahomes, Allen, and even Herbert (who's probably about eight spots too low).

I think people need to slow the hype train on Herbert a bit. He could be great but iirc he didn't beat a single good team last year. Unless you count the Chiefs backups.
