Next night leave a guy out there into the 70's pitches after giving up 8 and not looking like he's going to be able to come out of it.

Great example of why you don't use up the bullpen last night knowing Felix is going the next day... Felix rarely gets through 4 or 5 innings anymore...

There really is no excuse at all for not pulling Felix.

This really is the equivalent of a gambler being down big money still going at it just to try and recover a small amount of it so you feel a bit better when you do finally leave. They WANT him to leave on a high note for his confidence and damn it, they will keep putting him out there until he does. Or something. Who the fuck knows anymore.

It's not very often when you hear anything from the announcers that even begin to lean toward questioning Servais, but now it's getting so obvious that they can't even spin it anymore and still make any sense out of it. Sims tried last night laying on that shit about it being too hot down there etc. (if they said what they really think they'd get fired) Anybody with an ounce of baseball sense sees the deficiencies the Mariner's manager has. He puts him back out there for Texas to keep their mojo going.
