You are exactly right. We make fun of them, but we the fans are the real fools. I have been one for 48 seasons always thinking the next will be different. It is never different. The names may change, but that is all.Nah, they’re too busy cleaning your pockets to clean house. As long as the fans continue to allow them to, why change?
They don't have to be better than those teams, just be better than Seattle to win the division
true story .he only starts..I think we’re also seeing what happens when Dylan Moore is ann every day starter. He’s just not good enough.
Absolutely. He is a perfect utility guy, but more he has to play the more we are going to lose. Not his fault in any way. It is just who he is.I think we’re also seeing what happens when Dylan Moore is ann every day starter. He’s just not good enough.
Can't hit a home run with a ground ball. This time of year I get bored talking about the games because...well you see them play so you know. But I do like little stats and the one I keep telling my brother is while teams like Detroit beat us by hitting a ton go ground balls that found holes or we misplayed, we hit pop ups. It seems like we hit a lot of pop ups/fly balls.
We are 4th to the bottom in ground balls vs fly balls (air balls as they call it). Ground balls fined holes or are misplayed. Air balls are outs 99% of the time. More ground balls move people over or in while only a few air balls do that. So not only are we striking out at a record pace creating empty AB's, but we are also giving away easy outs in the air.
A MLB stat I found very interesting, I am easily amused, is that only 3 teams have had a higher or equal GB's to AB's (air balls) ratio. In 2020 14 teams. 2010 22 teams. All about the launch angle I guess.
Oh, he's secure, alright. It's a goddamn THREE-WAY when you consider Stanton. How many losses in a row before Servais is fired ? Or is his job secure forever as long as Dipoto and Servais circle jerk each other
I’m not sure if Jerry and Scott are as tied at the hip as they have been. A. I doubt Jerry will lose his job if all he has to do is fire Scott. B. Not sure how close they can be when Jerry traded his two favorite players for nothing (no offense Mitch)How many losses in a row before Servais is fired ? Or is his job secure forever as long as Dipoto and Servais circle jerk each other
Yep. The Angels got the last laugh on us.How many losses in a row before Servais is fired ? Or is his job secure forever as long as Dipoto and Servais circle jerk each other
I'm starting to feel the same way about Robles. He's hitting .161 in August. He's looking more and more like the guy who hit a collective .216 from 2020-2022 seasons in DC.Absolutely. He is a perfect utility guy, but more he has to play the more we are going to lose. Not his fault in any way. It is just who he is.
Last time things were going bad and we thought he was about to get canned they gave him an extension. How many losses in a row before Servais is fired ? Or is his job secure forever as long as Dipoto and Servais circle jerk each other
