When you have the 2nd best team ERA and 2nd highest scoring offense, you just shouldn't lose at the rate we've been losing lately. Hard to see us catching Texas, but better days just have to be ahead.

One can only hope, they turn it around quickly.

If they keep up the way they have been playing they are trending towards having a pretty terrible team ERA. The pen is a nightmare right now, and a lot of that is due to our starters can't make it past the 5th inning.

Which is why I thought they woulda jumped on getting Tim Lincecum, he's a hometown kid, lives in Seattle right now.... It just seemed like a no brainer to take the chance on him... He's also grew up a Mariners fan ... I don't know it just seemed right, and we didn't jump on it... Sure maybe he'll never be what he was.. BUT, I think it was worth the risk...

I actually agree. I was actually surprised it took him so long to get a job. It seemed pretty clear early on that Dipoto wasn't interested in signing him.

Speaking of does anyone know how much he singed for?

It wasn't a big contract at all ... I think it was a 1 year deal around 2 million with some incentives...

Now with Walker likely on the DL, that's three starters down to go with a 4th that is useless.

Leadoff double, bunt him over, then next two batters can't make contact. Sound familiar?

Get the first two runs, Tigers respond with one...

Time once again for Seattle's favorite guessing game...how long can they keep this lead?

Then the bottom of the 7th rolls around.

And it's Aviles with the go-ahead run for Detroit.

And on that note, GAME OVER.

Why oh why did they have to have such a good start to the season and actually get our hopes up just to end up the same old M's they ALWAYS are? :L

Fuck this franchise. If I were as bad at my job as these bums are in the FO are at their job I would have been homeless years ago. Always a fucking excuse for why they suck. Not worth watching. I honestly give up.

Professional sports are a joke. If it were a regular product then they'd either have to improve or go out of business because nobody is buying anymore. With sports, if the team sucks and fans stop showing up then it's "Well this town just doesn't respect {insert sport in question here}" and they just move for big bucks. I'm done buying this bullshit.
