Jimmy G about to become the highest paid player in the league.
At least until Cousins hits the open market.

The Chiefs just cut Revis.
Too old or worth a shot? Butler is obviously gone so there's a vacancy.

Now reports are out that TB is looking for Jimmy G money and will skip OTA's if he doesn't get it.....I call BS on this one. If that's the case, then BB mine as well retire cause there goes the cap space...LOL
Boston Herald columnist Ron Borges landed what he thought was a major scoop Thursday night: Tom Brady’s agent texted him to say the Patriots quarterback wanted a new contract in light of former backup Jimmy Garoppolo’s megadeal with the 49ers, and the five-time Super Bowl champion was willing to sit out offseason team activities until he got it.
Borges wrote a story, which the Herald published. Apparently the source was not Brady’s agent, but a random fan pretending to be Don Yee, according to screenshots of text messages secured by the Kirk & Callahan sports talk radio show. The con artist pretending to be Yee is apparently “Nick in Boston,” a WEEI listener.

Well something needed to be done. This and a new DC could be just what the D needed?Interesting discussions this morning. Seems that BB was not at all happy with the overall poor performance of the defense. Rumors are starting to fly that he will totally rebuild the defense with rookies and free agents. What's being said that as many as 10-12 defensive players on the present roster will be gone by the time training camp is over. Since the salary cap doesn't come into play until the the season starts, some pretty interesting cuts just may happen.
