There's bad blood there with Julio. Julio's last season in Atlanta was '20, and Smith's first year was '21... Jones strong-armed his way out, demanding a trade during Smith's first offseason as head coach. Most reports indicated Julio wanted no part of the new regime under Smith. If Smith continues to bring Falcon re-treads in why don't they just sign Julio Jones and get it over with?
Also you can take an Allen Robinson reunion off the list as he just signed with the Giants.
Yep read that also. No value add to this team anymore. Not interested unless its a vet min deal
I love their “a little birdie” as the source.Interesting... Doesn't have a source, so this could be BS.
They got a lot out of Dupree when paired with TJ. Bringing him back could really revitalize him. But this wouldn't be anything more than a rotator backup like Golden was last year. Herbig could be ready for that role, but they still need a reliable 4th.Yep read that also. No value add to this team anymore.
Well things have been relatively silent since declining his 5th year option. Don't know if he's publicly discussed it yet.I love their “a little birdie” as the source.
I agree this is most likely BS, why would he say that and just cause issues prior to the season. Also if true he would have been dealt already, due to the fact of the issues this could cause.
Yeah I would not want Dupree to come in and take time away from Herbig. If he is willing to take a league min and be the 4th piece then I am all for it.They got a lot out of Dupree when paired with TJ. Bringing him back could really revitalize him. No he hasn't said anything and why I think it is most likely BS. Because I guarantee if he told them he wanted to play elsewhere in 2025 they would have traded him already.Well things have been relatively silent since declining his 5th year option. Don't know if he's publicly discussed it yet.
I forgot he was out before Smith took over. There's bad blood there with Julio. Julio's last season in Atlanta was '20, and Smith's first year was '21... Honestly baffled by how this team is handling the WR room. But they may be after a post June 1st trade.
