Once again a very good pick.
Loving this draft so far. Roman Wilson is a great compliment to Pickens. Dude separates.
IDK…seeing how bad he was in Detroit and now the legal issues. Who knows when he could be suspended by the NFL.Depth OL piece in the 4th is a bit odd. But clearly this team is taking the OL very serious. Daniels is entering the final year UC so this is a smart move even if they didn’t address the secondary needs.
Supposedly the Steelers have met with Cam Sutton so maybe they have already addressed the CB room.

At this point might be more willing to give Trice and Rice a chance.
Lions signed him thinking he could play outside CB exclusively. We already knew he couldn’t be relied on to sit on an island without Safety help.IDK…seeing how bad he was in Detroit and now the legal issues. Who knows when he could be suspended by the NFL.

Oh yeah his proper position is in the slot. My concern is the extra baggage. Is that worth it and not sure how he lines up with the other current FA corners?Lions signed him thinking he could play outside CB exclusively. If they sign him then it would have to be league minimum due to the pending legal issues.
He looks very intriguing. Hope he shows well in camp.I like what I’m seeing from Watts’ film. Could play either nickel CB or safety. Highest run cover grade of all CBs in the draft so he’s a willing tackler. Graded very well in coverage too. But supposedly limited athleticism
This team is well versed with WRs with baggage.Oh yeah his proper position is in the slot. My concern is the extra baggage. Is that worth it and not sure how he lines up with the other current FA corners?
Wouldn’t read too far into this. They did the same with a Duke RB a year or so ago and rarely heard his name in camp IIRC. But I do like the kid’s film. Could be fun gadget guy.So they signed John Rhys Plumlee the UCF QB to a record bonus. Looking at him he is a pure athlete and have a feeling he could be another weapon.
As he was a receiver first and ran a lot at QB.
Big difference is none were arrested for choking a woman while on the run. That will resonate for a while, will be curious what the NFL does. This team is well versed with WRs with baggage.

Yea there definitely is a difference. Hard to say where the lines are drawn anymore, and I don't recall seeing very much detail about Sutton's situation. Still so odd to me given everything I've seen & heard from that dude. Seems so absurdly out of character. But the Steelers have dealt with plenty of crap in the last 20 years... Ben's allegations, Harrison slapped a woman, bringing Mike Vick in, hiring Flores after his league lawsuit.Big difference is none were arrested for choking a woman while on the run. Sadly though from a pure football perspective he is a perfect fit for this roster at the league min.
As for the UDFA...yeah not thinking much outside the fact they wanted to be 100% they have him during training camp. He is not a QB, but his athletic ability per the film is very high. Will be cool if he works out and gets some game action.
After Highsmith's restructure it makes sense they have the ability to explore trades... But I'm not waiting on the edge of my seat for it to happen. These "insiders" have been posting these headlines for a couple months now and nothing has happened.
'landing' wouldn't just be resigning his cousin Pat, I would hope.
