@flyerhawk I am assuming Hamlet being the Orson Welles version? Love me some Shakespeare, although I am preferential to Macbeth.

Yea man, I am from the 90’s. I missed out on a ton of gems.
The late 90s (97-2000) is a PLATINUM EPOCH of great films. Heck, 98-99 alone is a treasure trove.

what does form the 90s mean? hell, i was born in the 80s and love the movies and music, but as to what i grew up with, it was ace of base, wut-tang, tlc, nirvana, coolio, sound garden, etc... movies? check out jim carrey for the early parts. passenger 57, congo, fuck, i'm here for it all.
Wasn’t even 10 man. So I was behind the 8 ball.

I love True Lies and campy action films in general.
favorites are all subjective, but even by arnold standards, a cat with tons of campy action flicks. even at the time the movie came out the part of him abducting jlc and thinking she had to well, it was cringe worthy

Took a film class in college on Camp films (took it because of the teacher who I loved, but he passed mid semester). Had no freaking idea what I was getting myself into. We watched Pulp Fiction for the first film, The Stepford Wives the second, then it was like creepy stuff and I stoped going to our weekly night viewings.

Saw Flash Gordon in that class, I found it to be miserable.

Well it was his wife. And it was all absurd. Bill Paxton character was pretty hilarious. Probably Tom Arnold's best movie which isn't saying much.

It got a 69% RT which is kinda remarkable for that kind of film.

I do agree it didn't age super well but most campy action films don't.

They’ve been running it a lot on Cinemax or showtime lately. Tom Arnold was really hilarious in that movie and I don’t think I can say that about any other Tom Arnold film.

Nailed it! Double Indemnity is probably my favorite movie of all time.

Key Largo
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
Five Star Final
Conflict
The Sea Wolf
Dead Reckoning
To Have and Have Not
High Sierra

Also on my crap list: German montage films, and the freaking French New Wave.
