Si, but I haven't yet axed Ford if I can give hoop cash to the winner...
4 Sport Franchise Draft...
We would be drafting franchises from the 4 major sports (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL). After the draft, we put together starting line ups (and some bench) for each sport, using only the franchises that you drafted. A player must have played more games for that franchise than any other franchise. We would have 4 separate playoffs (one for each sport) and give a top 5 for each playoff. There would be a winner for each sport, then an overall winner based on each sport's standings.
Why would you say that? Wouldn't be harder than doing a 4 Sport where we draft players. I would help you run it if that's the issue. You don't like me do ya Femur?

It would be an epic fail. Nice idea thoughKeeping track of four drafts at once will be pretty time consuming and alot of work.
No, it's one draft. You draft the whole team. So, like you get the first pick and take the Yankees. UK trades into the 2nd pick and takes the Lakers. Meebs picks the Celtics, and so on...Keeping track of four drafts at once will be pretty time consuming and alot of work.

We're not drafting players. We are drafting franchises, then using everyone that played most of their games with that franchise. So, when you draft the Lakers, you get Magic and Kareem and Worthy, but not Wilt... he would be with the Warriors franchise. When you draft the Yankees, you get Gehrig and Mantle and Jeter, but not Clemens, he would be with the Red Sox.How many players we drafting?

When the draft is over, you would create a roster only using the teams you picked.
How bout we tweek this idea..just do one sport at a time(goodness...), and you can take any team for a specific decade....that way, there are plenty of teams without having to do 4 sports...for example, if we did NFL, and I took the 70's Steelers, Nos could turn around and take the 2000's Steelers...if someone took the 90's Steelers, and players played in the 90's and 00's, it would fall to years in a decade and then games in a decade if necessary. This will add some bumping strategy, as you might have more players to choose from if you took the 90's and no one took the 00's...So if we do all 4 sports that means we will have 4 full teams or over 70 players.
I say we do a NL draft next
