I think maybe phase only works in basketball because there are so few picks.

Is it first game was 90 or later, or they played in a game 90 or later.

I heard from UK that the guys picking in the middle get screwed over but don't understand that since it's the same format as other drafts. A guy picks 5th in every round or a guy that picks 1st and last every other round. I feel that's the same. Maybe I'm missing something like usual. My first pick will be Captain Kirk Cousins, I am so glad I was wrong about Kirk. Skins just need some help on their defense and Redskins might have a great team next year.

UK's point if I may speak for him is valid because if you draft in the middle you never get the best players from any phase.

It's not the same as other drafts because in normal drafts we aren't all forced to draft from the same group of players every round.

Exactly, I'd be happy to do that format again... if I'm picking 1st or last. And to Ritz, rotating who picks first each round doesn't work either. In the NBA draft, if it were a round for "won a championship" you might get Michael Jordan. The guy picking first on the "2nd round pick" phase isn't getting the same player

I picked at the end of the phases and I was still not a fan of it. I felt like I was second in all of the phases that are loaded and second to last in the phases that are sparse.

Example, 2nd for players picked in the first round second to last for players in the second round.

I don't think this type of draft can ever end up as even no matter where you pick.

How about a 20 round NBA, wide open, including foreign players and modern players, each team must have a different 5 starters for each quarter. No subbing, 1 quarter per player and 5 man unit

I love the quarter idea... the foreign players I don't like only because they are impossible to analyze... Unless we force all owners to have the same amount of TYPE players...

Golf and tennis in one draft... REALLY I want to do a multi sport draft... Would have loved to do a monster football/baseball one...

No foreign players in NBA. As for the multiple sport, how about this, 42 round NFL/NBA/MLB draft, 11/11 football, baseball gets 9 man lineup plus 3 SP and closer, NBA gets starting 5 and 3 subs

Playoffs are decided by head to head in 3 sports, example, I beat Nos in MLB, he wins NFL and NBA, he advances 2-1

This takes care of the drafts for 2016, and we get an entire year to come up with some new ideas!

I like to try different stuff. I really liked my idea of drafting NFL position groups. Like 18 rounds, but 53 players.
