How about an open draft. But we do a 15 player team and no player can play more than 40% of the game.

I also like the cap idea so why not combine ideas. UK's cap idea, my idea 1 player per team (no eliminating teams), and Milks idea of 15 players and no player can play more then 40% of the game. Then Nos's idea I forget so hopefully it was something listed like what I wrote.

Does anyone still watch The League? I'm watching it now (recording) and I got to say I feel the show is slowly getting worse and worse. The gang was watching football and then a commercial came on and it was a ad for FanDual. They talked about FanDual for 5 minutes. Seriously what a shameless plug. Come on. where have the good shows gone. I used to enjoy Storage Wars until it got to a point where things were staged. On Duck Dynasty they would make up drama and not show real life events it was all staged. Sorry for the stupid rant it just frustrates me the BS on tv. It doesn't help that I work at a alternative HS and this year has been the worst with bullshit drama. Mr. Ritz, Kayla is hiding my notebook and now my work is gone. Mr. Ritz, you should be in my 3rd period class today because I am going to kick that bitches ass. I say why? Her response because she isn't wearing a bra and she is a skank. Why is she allowed to dress that way and we get in trouble. Then more and more stupid shit. This year which is only 6 weeks in has been more drama then all of last year combined. God I am going to have another ulcer pop and cause me to throw up blood.

Draft 10 players. Players can only play a total of 24minutes. Do UK's cap idea (post #341). You can only draft 1 player from a team. Player had to have played 5 total seasons with the same team to be eligible.

I still kinda like my block of teams idea. Three teams per bucket, you can only take 1 player per bucket, you can trade your pick in a bucket.

EX... Bucket 1 is Lakers, Celtics Bulls. You can trade your pick from that bucket along with your pick from bucket 8 which would be umm Clippers, Nets, Grizzlies for someones picks in buckets 2 and 4 which would be better teams. Like 76ers, Bucks, Heat and Jazz, Warriors, Rockets

What's next on the docket? How about a no cap, no year limit, 6 HOFers draft. Any player ever, 24 players, 6 HOF limit. You can spread them out, make them all pitchers, all hitters, whatever you choose. Allow current guys, if you think you can get a future HOFer, take him, it's fair for everyone, and with only 25% of each team HOF, the squads will be loaded but not too loaded

I think for next NFL, this would be a blast

Every pick is a team/starting UNIT pick

Example, 2014 Cowboys WR/TE- Dez, TWill, Witten

Every team picks:
QB/RB/FB- 2 Units(then combine 6 into Starter/Subs)
WR1,WR2,TE-2 Units(6 players)
OL-2 Units(10 players)
DLine-2 Units(6 or 8)
LB-2 Units(6 or 8, can't be same # as DL)
DB's, 2CB, SS, FS 2 Units(8 players)
Kicking Game(1K, 1P) 2 Units(4 players)
That's a 48 man roster. After all units are picked, there are 5 more rounds of individual Wild Card player picks, to put the roster at 53(can be any player not yet picked, are eligible to start).

Rules are, one a player is picked. He is off the board, example, if I took 2014 Cowboys WR's, no Cowboys UNIT withs Dez, Williams or Witten could be picked
When you pick a unit, you list the year, team, and players(all players go on team thread)
You can make trades for any individual players, but a pick during the Unit round would have to be traded for a whole unit or a unit pick


Draft would be 19 rounds, 14 unit, 5 WC. Thoughts?

really want a new challenge..

a new MLB draft based off an already MLB mock draft, you can't select anyone who was drafted in the last mock baseball draft...can be 6, 8, 10, 12 HOF, whatever, but not one player can be drafted that had been drafted in the last draft.

My idea for the next draft...

We do a decades draft...

a 48 round dual sport Baseball-football

pre 1900s counts as one decade and Post 2000 counts as another...

So we have 12 decades 4 players can be taken per decade...

One HOF per decade(you can have 12 HOF in baseball, or football)

We do a round robin instead of a playoffs in both baseball and football...

Records decides winner... If there is a tie, the team with a more balanced Record wins...
