Holy shit, the Bull, the Bat, and Steve. This season is getting interesting.
Too early for either one. Plus Hoskins is a 1st baseman with no other positions played. Both will have to produceBring up both Hoskins and Cozens today. I'll bet one would delight and hit 20 homers the rest of the season.

Since this thread supplanted my minor league thread, I have a player that's very interesting- 22 year old Jasmuel Valentin. It looks like Fausto Carmona may have had some value to us, we got Valentin in the deal to LAD. Last year at A+, he hit .273/.351/.424 with a 136 wRC+. This year at AA in 266 PA, he is hitting .284/.347/.419 for a 115 wRC+ (AA is easier to hit in, thus the different in wRC+ with very similar stats. His wRAA is higher this year). He is a switch hitter who plays second base mainly but also some shortstop. He stole 24 bags in 2014
Dylen cozens hit his 21st home run today. Also Rhys hosins hit his 21st Home run as well. They both have 62 Rbis. Hoskins plays 1st base and Cozens is an outfielder. They are both in Reading.
Lucky you! Great seats and and great game to boot!I went up to First Energy Stadium tonight to see the Fightins. A 55 mile drive and worth it. 13 bucks for a seat 10 rows from home plate. My first minor league game. I was fortunate to see the homers by Cozens and Hoskins early in the game. These were solid line drive bashes of 380 feet or more to left center and left and got out in a hurry. Can't wait to see these two up here. Homers at this park aren't cheap as some say. 330' down the lines and 400' dead center.
phillies need more fans like you! i believe that the Phillies recognize their talent, but they are in no hurry.I attended the BluClaws-Greensboro Grasshoppers game in Lakewood last night with hope of getting to see Josh Tobias or Cornelius Randolph in the lineup but no luck, and the Claws (33-46) got pummeled 9-2.
Tobias is hitting 18/45, .400, 1 hr, 9 rbi in the last 10 games. Overall, he's at .300/.375/.448/.823, 6 hr, 48 rbi, 19 2b, 3 3b in 74 games. Did .321/.362/.475/.837 at Williamsport last year, and was .300/.377/.422/.799 at Florida. There not much to prove at this level. He should be moved up to Reading to compete with Jesmuel Valentin. Issues include Lakewood's need to attract fans and Phillies failure to recognize talent. Protocol!
