Right, as they've done so well in the past when they've looked like the front runner for the ring. They'll crap themselves before the end of this season, add more dust to that trophy case and continue to talk about what might have been. It's what they do...it's who they are...it's how they roll...

You're saying I lied? I didn't, the Vikes have had some very good teams, probably the best team in the NFL at least 4 times and they shit themselves every time. It's the truth, and until they get it done, I feel for you Viking's fans, but for now it is what it is and they are what they are.... just saying

Yeah, you really earned that win.

Uh... yah, we did? Not really sure what your post was supposed to mean. He said the Vikes didn't make the playoffs, and I said they did and who they faced and lost to.

???

You do realize this isn't the same team that "shit" themselves 4 times right?

I'll agree that every year is a new year, yes. However, you should also realize that the Vikings are viewed as chokers. When they have the pieces in place to grab the trophy, they just crap themselves. Unless you just became a Viking's fan in the last 5 years, their history of getting it done is not the best. Stupid shit happens to that franchise...basically an implosion waiting to happen

A QB who had not yet proved anything, a RB who was almost assuredly on the way down and a LT who had a good rookie season and had been less than good since.

Bradford hasn't proven anything yet either, and the RB that is almost assuredly on the way down doesn't win a rushing title the previous year. He'd still be the focal point. I'll give you the LT, but the point stands I believe. Like I said, I've seen many 1 year wonders, so there is no way I'm fully believing a months worth.

great start, no doubt, lots of guys hurt and still winning. This D will keep us in most games and that all you ask for is a shot to win any game
Bruins, Vikings and Mets? WTF

So you're saying we lose to the Eagles?

A very good measuring stick for the Vikings. Eagles have a good young QB that can move the ball, excellent D and special teams. Vikings off to an excellent start, should be a very good game in Philly.

Great team, too bad about that kicker though. Really hope he's not the reason the season ends for the rest of the bunch there. Zimmer is a terrific coach and that front office has had a great few years.

I'd be more impressed with the Eagles had they not lost to Detroit.

This Vikings team reminds me of Denver last year. The difference is that the Vikings have far better QB play and aren't turning the ball over like Manning and Co did last year.

This Could be the year they finally grasp the Lombardi. Obviously there is a long way to go...

Why not? The NFC sucks this year, who has a better chance than the Vikes if everyone stays healthy?

Not sure I agree NFC sucks... Atlanta already beat Raiders and Broncos top 2 teams AFC West... Eagles rolled the Steelers and Vikes beat up Houston and Cowboys smacked the Bengals around.

NFC teams at the top are beating up the contenders in the AFC... exception is Patriots vs NFC West.

Road to the Super Bowl will be much more difficult in NFC vs AFC in my opinion.
