I'm trying to find where I read it but Sopoaga has only played 15 of 137 snaps so far this year.

I had no idea about that. He played a lot last year, and he was arguably one of the best in the NFL at his position when he was in there. I like how the Niners sub' in guys a lot, but I didn't know he played so little this season.

Last season was the first time Soap played in a 1 gap system; he's much better in Fangio's defense than Nolan's defense or Manusky's.

It's because the 49ers have played primarily out of their nickle and dime in the first two games because of the passing offenses of the Packers and Lions. He comes off the field in those sets. He will play considerably more the next couple of weeks for sure.

For you stats masters out there... what's been the biggest spread as a favorite in recent years for niners?

I can't believe we(as fans) are back to being touchdown favorites lol

Especially on the road, although I would not consider the Vikings a Home Team Powerhouse - (60% winning % at home over the past 10 years).

Best.. = 8-0 (2009)
Worst = 1-7 (2011)

I'm sure they can handle it. AP is the only one to look out for. He is inhuman.

I think the 49ers have got the best of AP so far, but that doesn't mean they always will. I'll still be a little nervous each time they hand off to him, he is a dangerous guy.

14 attempts for 3 yards in 2007
19 attempts for 89 yards in 2009

Anyway, hope everyone comes out healthy at the end of the game.
