OMG, Glennon is going to suck balls. Bears will have the first pick in the 2018 draft.

Their schedule certainly doesn't help, but I don't see them being any worse than this last year(admittedly not saying much)

Listen, if the Bears D can stay healthy and improve even a touch, they shouldn't be the worst team in the league. They have a good running game and a decent o-line. The coaches are not going to ask Glennon to be a superstar. The Bears will be a run-oriented team, with hopefully an improved Defense.

It's not ideal, but considering their Cutler situation, I don't really know what else they could've done. We know what we're getting with Hoyer. Good between the 30's, terrible in the redzone. Doesn't turn it over, but doesn't score. Barkley's ceiling is meh. At least with Glennon, there is relative youth, and a potential upside.

They should be drafting QB, this year and next if needed tho.

Mike Glennon will be the bears future Aaron Rodgers. He has that upside.

This is great news.

This is exactly what I want, and is what is best for the team.

I totally get why everyone is shaking their heads at the Bears draft, as a whole, but this is exactly what should be happening going forward.

If Mike Glennon truly thought he was the future, he should probably get a new agent. You don't sign the contract he signed without knowing it's ostensibly a one year deal. Prove it of fuck off type-deal.

He'll get his chance tho. Better not rest on his laurels.

Eventually he'll understand he's auditioning for the rest of the league. And if he doesn't he won't have much of a career. Not much different than the Bradford-Wentz situation last year. It'll sort itself out.

Yeah, what a short-sighted cry baby. With teams drooling over mediocre quarterback prospects, he should just shut his mouth and kill it in 2017. Then sign the big contract elsewhere. What a dope.
