No way, they stupidly gave him a 7 year deal in 2014. They have a lot of dead money coming their way unless it was front-loaded.
Then it is the guarantee that ran out. I'm pretty sure Chicago can walk without much penalty.
I just don't feel like looking it up.

He's said that he might retire rather than be traded again, so maybe they are waiting for that.

Glennon's a better QB than Osweiler was at this same time last season.

If they do that they should probably keep Jeffery though. Glennon can make those throws to big covered WRs. And Jeffery can make those catches as a big covered WR.
I believe Jeffrey won't re-sign with the Bears.

I would have let Cutler walk, brought back Hoyer as the bridge QB and drafted a QB in the upcoming draft. Hoyer played pretty well for the Bears this past season.

The Vikings might be willing to cough up another draft pick for him... :D

I know you are joking, but I'd start myself on fire. He is literally my most hated player ever.

I laughed when I found out that he cried because every player and analyst in the world was mocking his toughness in the 2010 NFCCG and said: "Karma is a bitch, ain't she?"

Mike Glennon will be the bears future Aaron Rodgers. He has that upside.

Glennon is a good move for us right now. He possible can earn the job for keeps or hold it while we develop. He will be better then what we had and wont kill us with turnovers. I admit we overpaid for no real reason. I'm just stoked the Cutler era is over.

Yea I'm happy JAY n Da Bears marriage is over. Like they say "marriage is 50/50" n JAY wasn't putting in his 50. Lol. Glennon will do more in this marriage than JAY ever will. It may not show in the NUMBERS but it will show on the FIELD.

Like someone said, Glennon to me is similar to Hoyer and Hoyer would have been cheaper.

Glennon has a MUCH better Arm, Much Better!
Maybe, but the arm is less important then seeing the field, diagnosing the defense, making adjustment based on what he see's. All things that improve with experience, something Glennon is lacking vs Hoyer. How many games did Glennon play in last year? For how long? Now compare that to Hoyer.

OMG, Glennon is going to suck balls. Bears will have the first pick in the 2018 draft.

Yeah, but the perception to me is that Hoyer and the like have topped out while there is some mystery to Glennon. Seems like a fool's hope to me but that's their prerogative I suppose.
