In the 4 years before Saban took over. They finished one year 12th in the country. One year 13th in the country and a 3rd year, they were ranked as high as #6 in the country before they went downhill and DiNardo was fired the next year.

And in the 4 years before Saban took over LSU was SEVENTH in win % in the SEC during that time frame. Just give it up, you're fucking clueless.

7 years outside the SEC as a power 5 or NFL coach. 49-41 record.

As I said -- with the built in recruiting advantages in the SEC, he is a great coach.

Not taking anything away from his accomplishments. Urban Meyer has been more impressive (and it kills me to say that)

That's the great thing about opinions, everybody gets to have one.

Meh...the Dolphins were a 4-12 team before Saban, then went 1-15 the year after he left. His 15-17 record is acceptable for a program that has finished above .500 exactly 1 time since he left. He's a good coach not a miracle worker.

Same with Sparty...he inherited a team that went 0-11 and left with a team that went 10-2

Prior to that he took a Toledo team that went 5-6 the year before and made them MAC Champions.

Everything else he is a position coach, so hard to judge.

Face it, Saban has accomplished more prior to Alabama than Harbaugh has to date. Get back to me when Harbaugh wins a national championship at any level, let alone multiple places.

I hope this is a joke. You realize I live in Michigan. Not only did MSU not finish 0-11 the year before he took over. They have NEVER finished 0-11.
He took over for George Perles and put up the same type of teams Perles did. 6-6, 7-5, 6-5-1, 6-6. He had one season he won 9 and then lied to the team and left for LSU.

And SF hadn't had a winning season in a decade before Harbaugh took over at SF. Great coaches win.

Plexi-glass Burress even called him out in the past year about lying to the MSU team.

50/50 chance you will be able to comprehend what anyone is writing. Stick to rainbows. Let the adults do the talking.

:pound:@ you

:pound: Hardbaugh

:pound:@ Michigan football. Exactly zero wins over teams that finished the season in the top 15 for 9 years straight and counting.

If you cheat and have your wins forfeited you still lost. 0-11 is 0-11.

Again, let me know when Harbaugh wins a championship greater than a conference championship, until then you can take his greatness and choke on it. Harbaugh isn't even the best coach in his family, let alone in his conference.

Michigan's B1G record the past 8 years. 30-34. :pound:
You don't think UM fans know this? Hell, you can post their record as a whole for the past 8 years. They have been terrible.

Wow. Talk about grasping at straws. Passing a team off as winless to justify Saban being a middle of the road coach in the B1G. Very creative, but fail.

Except if you're saying LSU was a "top school" when Saban took over, your opinion can be wrong and look fucking clueless.
They won the SEC west in 1996 and 1997. Then we're ranked as high as #6 in the country in 1998 before the bottom fell out and DiNardo was fired and Saban was brought in.

Hell. DiNardo even faced Saban and MSU in a bowl game and beat them 45-26.

LOL, you keep repeating the same bs, acting as if that means something. You're a fucking moron if you think that translates to them being a "top school". Also, they never even played in the SECCG because they couldn't beat the ACTUAL team that won the SEC West. Bama won it in 96, Auburn in 97, then you have UGA, UF and Tennessee in the East who were far better programs. But again, please continue to act like they were a "top school", because it will just reinforce how much of a dumbass you are.
