I wasn't even going to bother with that because he engages in some pretty serious pretzel logic when it comes to the players themselves.

If you asked him if Irving or Love would be Hall of Famers if they played in the 90s he would laugh. Yet somehow they are amazing Hall of Famers today.

And somehow the Cavs are a super team but the Lakers of the 2000s and the Bulls of the 90s were not super teams.

Lakers played great teams to get to the finals. Bulls played great teams to get the finals.

Cavs played SHIT to get to the finals. (like every year Lebron teams get to the finals)

Big difference

Nobody here is saying he isn't.

Your blind ignorant hatred regarding the games top players and teams is ludicrous.

The '17 Spurs weren't nearly as good as the '13 and '14 versions that LeBron played in the Finals.

I can't wait to come back to your insanely ridiculous posts in a couple years once Kyrie has proven to be nothing special and the Warriors continue to run roughshod over the league.

Irving will get plenty of titles as long as he joins a team with other scorers, He doesn't need Lebron to win titles. He just needs to be on a good team

Like Durant, he just needs to join a team with other scorers.
Youre acting like the only course of action to win titles is thorough Le3-5

Wow. Just wow.

You think Irving is better than LeBron. This might just be hall of shame worthy.

Durant isn't just a scorer. Kyrie is though. Multiple scorers banding together doesn't bring championships. You need a complete team or a transcendent player, or both.

Lebron gives the team a better chance to win over the course of the whole game. Kobe might be a better closer, but it is a 48 minute game.

The killer mentality that the poster was referring isn't about being a closer. It's about looking to kill your opponent for 48 minutes. The closer thing is about staying calm, focused and not being afraid of the moment.

Ftr, I don't think the "lacks killer mentality" applies to Lebron anymore. There was a time when Lebron would shy away from the big moments. But I think the embarrassment from how he performed in the finals vs. the Mavs pretty well cured him of that.

Spurs are def not better, even if Kawhi stayed healthy i still don't think they would have won that series. They may have stole the first game but still lost.

Agree. The Spurs aren't better, but they are currently the only threat. They are just good enough that with Pop coaching them, they could throw the Warriors off of their game enough to win the series.

Don't get me wrong, I don't see that happening...but if there is one team that could do it, it's the Spurs.

That Mavs series is, IMO, the biggest black mark on his resume.

The only thing stopping the Warriors is injuries. They may not 16-1 in the playoffs again next year but I'll be shocked if it is far off that mark.

All Dorian wants to do is troll. God love 'im.

But yeah when you troll that hard eventually you start contradicting yourself. Warriors ain't shit, LeBron ain't shit, so no one is any good I guess.

For those who are old enough to remember The Gong Show:

Sometimes on The Gong Show there would be that performance that was so bad, it was funny. When that happened, the judges would have trouble deciding whether the act was so bad that it should be stopped and gong them...

Or if it was so bad that they wanted it to go on to see if it could actually get worse and not gong them.

That's how I feel about Dorian's posts.

No doubt. He literally proved every negative thing said about him (and added a few) to be correct.

I will say though, he's made a nice recovery. After that Mavs series, I didn't think he'd ever crack the top 10 all time. Now, I have him at no.4 on my list and most seem to have him at 2-5.

So will I. Unless the Spurs can pull off an upset, barring injuries, I don't see the Warriors being seriously threatened for at least the next 2 years.

16-1 is nothing when you play teams with injuries and missing key players. Its not like the 2001 Lakers.

We can all whipe on teams if they miss key players

Yeah those Nets were ferocious.

Someone needs to kick the needle, it's stuck on the same loop.

Lakers played solid teams en route to the finals in 2001. Something the Warriors didn't do

In 2002, Lakers have to play the Kings. better than any team the 2017 Warriors played

That loss to the Mavs is the biggest problem for LeBron's legacy. No one can really fault him for his two losses to Golden State. The first loss to San Antonio, they faced a clearly superior team. And without that loss to the Mavs, people could probably forgive him for the second loss to the Spurs. That loss to Dallas hurts, though.
