Beasley comes in drill 2 threes and block a shot? Remind me why this clown was not playing him before? He brings more to the table than anyone maybe except for Cole on the bench on the offensive end. He's not just a catch and shoot player like Jones, Ray, and Battier are. He can catch and a shoot but he can also beat you of the dribble

Gotta love Spo. Beasley having a nice run and what does he do? Replace him with the struggling Battier

The clown would be Beasley - And, rightfully so - Spo and the coaching staff have not played him yet to this point because they refuse to make the same mistake they made in his first stint with the team and GIVING him playing time as opposed to making him earn it… He had to work to get these minutes, and also circumstances played a role… He has done well so far… He will have to keep working in order to get more PT from this point forward… That is the exact approach that should be taken. Any reasonable person would praise the staff for such a move.

Coach Rothstein on Beasley at the halftime interview - Echoing my thoughts on Beas, of course - They know he can score, but with him it is seeing if he will provide to the team in other ways when giving him PT

I was a game off. There must have been some issue on Sunday night because Beasley never even warmed up after half time.
Then it was obvious he knew he wasn't playing when early 3 rd qtr he was eating popcorn with the towel boys.
Good to see him get his first minutes.
So far he's been the perfect patient since being given this chance.

To point out, once again, Flauge’s favorite stats for his favorite players +/- Beasley, -2 for Beasley -3 for Shane. At least they got some points when they got in early on… Spo did a great job of removing them from the game on time and limiting them after that.

And now we know why the Heat won and did so by a fairly decent margin
