Great win for the Heat before going on the road for some tough ones.
Great game for James Johnson in his return to the team/rotation.
It looks like he has dropped some weight and added some muscle , which should help him if he wants to play on the perimeter more. Still, he has the size and strength to be a force for the team inside - so hopefully he adds that to the mix as well - this team needs all the inside presence - on both ends -- that it can get.
Justise Winslow and Derrick Jones Jr. will travel with the team for the road trip - hopefully both will be able available on Tuesday to give the Heat even more bodies to choose from. And, hopefully, Dion Waiters is soon let out of Heat jail and allowed to contribute as well.
Comment about the stats - the Heat went a little overboard with the 3's today but thats mainly a product of trying to keep pace with a high-powered opponent, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt there. Due to the above mentioned fact, the FT attempts weren't as high as in previous games - but at least the Heat shot it well from the line. The turnovers started off OK but got sloppy towards the end.
Those are things they have to cut down on and fix while on this coming road trip.
Haslem should be the option to be on the inactive list, but knowing the game the Heat are playing these days -- it will probably be Waiters even if he is good to go.
