THC infused gummies is the new rumor regarding Dion that led to a panic attack. I don't blame him for doing such a stupid thing - I am sure he is stressed and frustrated with the way the Heat have continuously botched such a idiotic situation. This is probably motivation for the Heat to get rid of him - which is what they have seemed to want since all this crap started.
Unfortunate situation that Dion has gotten himself into, but I understand the frustration that would lead him to do something so stupid considering the way things have gone for him this season, and the way the team has handled the situation. They deserve some blame for this as well. I am sure that they are just fine with this move considering it will keep them from having to pay the bonus -- the Heat can be cheap at times -- the way they've handled this situation is an example. Hopefully, this is the last of all this unnecessary drama and Dion can come back refreshed from all this and be as productive as possible the rest of the way.
I forget what the language per the league on this issue, but hopefully the team taking action, even if its not directly for the incident -- is enough. And then Waiters can be eligible to return after the suspension is served -- and then hopefully the Heat allow him a chance to redeem himself on the court.
Wish the NBPA would have done this the moment the Heat began this charade. A lot of damage has been done at this point - but hopefully this is the start of them(all sides) getting it right -- Dion is at fault for the THC crap. But the punishment for the "conduct detrimental to the team" was just pure crap.
This sounds like a setup to make more excuses not to play him even when he already should be available to play - at least be given a chance to play. They've already done enough damage to him by screwing him out of his bonus - suspending him over nonsense in the pre-season - and singling him out in the plane incident - and not holding whoever gave him the substance accountable.
Udonis or James Johnson, both of which aren't really playing, should be the other inactive player -- no reason for it to be anyone but one of those two.
These young kids (mainly Robinson and Nunn) game typically doesn't travel on the road. Almost always leave their game in Miami when we play good teams away from home.
The starting lineup must change eventually. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Insert Herro and Winslow for Nunn and Robinson. Also think Waiters should get some of Nunn bench minutes when/if this change is made.
