This got to be a play for Richardson or Johnson.

You run that play for any of the perimeter guys except for Wade and I'm fine with it. Good play call but wrong player. Also Richardson who is our best 3 point shooter was on the bench on a play where we needed a 3. Hard to make any sense out of Spo's thinking just now

Heat predictable on the last shot. The Wade love affair hurts the Heat again - Go to the wrong guy to take the wrong shot for him. No business being in the game at that point - no business calling that shot for him.

A well deserved loss for the Heat. Another one they had no business losing but found a way to do so.

I agree with you 100%. Wade had a bad night. Even on a good night, I would never call a play for him when we need a 3. Honestly he should have been inbounding and Richardson should have been in for Whiteside.

Not going to get worked up about this. We're currently basically in a 4 way tie with Boston, Charlotte, and Atlanta. Only difference is Atlanta played one more game. I feel like we can beat any of the 3 in a series. I prefer the 3 or the 6 seed though.

What is most concerning here is that our defense has left us. Gave up 109 at home in a big game. Also, Wade has been off for a week plus. Bad game tonight masked by two late layups on two last 10 second possessions where it was given to us and where we might have been better served running a good play to get a good 3.

That to go along with typical getting outcoached at half time leading to another bad 3rd quarter and some real head scratching lineups and play calls particularly down the stretch and boom. We have not really beaten a good team in a while. 76ers twice, Kincks, Suns, Nuggets and Bulls twice when they are missing starters is not that impressive. Seems like a mirage in terms of our good record since the break.

BTW I just took a quick glance at the schedules, we have the easiest schedule of the 4 teams. Here are in my opinion the difficult games left on each team schedule.

Boston plays Toronto 2X, Clippers, Blazers, Warriors (all 3 on the road) and finish the season against Atlanta, Charlotte, and Miami.

Atlanta plays WSH 3X, Cleveland 2X, Toronto 2X, Houston, Boston, and road games in Detroit and Chicago.

Charlotte plays San Antonio at home, road games in Detroit, Cleveland, Toronto, Washington, and Boston.

Miami plays Cleveland, Chicago, and Detroit at home. Road games in San Antonio, Portland, Detroit, and Boston.

I think Miami and Charlotte will get the 3rd and 4th seeds

We haven't had many chances to play good teams. We did start off the 2nd half by beaten Washington, Indiana, and Atlanta. All good teams and 2 of 3 will be in the playoffs. We can't control the schedule or injuries. And also it's not like we're exactly healthy either. We are without our best player and a solid role player so if you're going to bring up injuries for our opponents, it is only fair to bring up the 2 key guys we are missing as well. Let's not forget outside of myself and @Paolo305613 the rest of you had already waved the White flag on the season when you heard about the Bosh situation before we played our first game after the AS Break

And someone in here who only comes in when we are losing/lose had given up on this team at around November. If we lose on Saturday will probably start talk about us potentially missing the playoffs now.

As for injuries -- thats no excuse. But, I would leave it to young andres to belittle our wins because of our opponents injury situations and then blaming the coaches when we lose. so typical.

Cant wait to read all the apocalyptic post by him if things don't go in our favor vs CLE

There are reasons why I don't post here much anymore. I am balanced and make real observations. Wade did not play well tonight and the team did not play defense. We have had consistently poor 3rd quarters since Lebron left irrespective of personnel. Take it any way you want. Fact is we have not beaten a good team in quite some time. That is factual. While nothing wrong with losing to the Raptors on the road, we got beat well in Boston and lost at home to Charlotte. We have beaten poor teams.

We also beat Atlanta and Indiana which you continue to just completely ignore. It's hard to beat good teams when you're not playing them frequently. We're 4-4 vs teams over .500 since the AS break.

So seems like the final play was actually for Johnson but Deng did not let the play develop.

Ethan is correct. If you watch the final play, it seems like Dragic was going to set a screen to get Johnson free but 2 things happened.

1) Deng didn't let the play develop.

2) Batum was holding Johnson
