Never good for the Heat to ever be down by 3 or more because then Wade thinks he is a 3pt shooter

Well, we didnt deserve to win this game anyway and probably shouldve lost by more - so cant complain too much - Too much Wade late , not enough Williams or Whiteside late and not enough UD. It seemed that the effort necessary for Birdman to contribute to the team decreasing the margin may have hurt his performance . He wasnt as efficient when it mattered most as he was early on

Unfortunately, another solid performance for Deng ends in a loss.

Wade was very good bonehead. 25 and 7 assists to one turnover. There was really one position that caused us to lose. Cole and Chalmers were awful combined on both sides of the court. I don't think Connley has missed but one shot against those two....they also shot under 30 percent. The positives were Granger and Bird and Wade. We need Bosh back and should give Napier more burn at point guard. Don't get the coaching decisions with players.

No surprised that we lost.

Didn't see a minute but seem like we played well for the most part but they have more talent than we do. We need Bosh back ASAP.

Napier being put in the doghouse makes zero sense

So I asked Ethan about the Napier issue and he also said he doesn't under what has happened with Napier's playing time.

Glad to see guys in the media see it the way all of us do as well

So Spolestra finally adjusts in the 3rd and let's Cole and Chalmers go 5 for 20 from the field without letting Napier get a couple of minutes to even try and stop them on defense. The rest of the Heat was good.

I am aware he made only one turnover, but made a lot of passes to others late in the clock that resulted in bad shots or turnovers on them - so the turnovers went to them when really they were on Wade - And meant he made bonehead plays in the sense that he took bad shots too often.

Most of our media guys, Ethan especially - our idiots. So for them to agree with most of this idiot fan base is not a surprise. They are just as clueless. The idiots of this board have said it, and some of our media have said it, including Ethan - the reason why Napier hasnt been playing is because of what we have seen all season long and saw since pre-season - He turns the ball over way too much and is inconsistent with his shot right now.

And yeah the problem is at PG, but with the emergence of guys at other positions recently such as Birdman, Whiteside and recently Granger - its hard to find minutes for anyone else especially someone who has already been out of the rotation for a while and who pretty much earned his own way out of the rotation. Funny how these same people actually called for Napier to get less playing time and now asking him to play again. The Heat will get him PT soon. He will have to earn it. Its earned.. not given... thats the Heat way whether you like it or not.

Do Miami Heat need to act now with $2.65M exception? - Sun Sentinel

Could the Heat save their exception for a veteran in the last year of his contract that's going to be cut and can still provide help? -- Martin.

A: Yes, the buyout deadline certainly could be another avenue for the Heat to spend the $2.65 million disabled-player salary-cap exception they received for Josh McRoberts' knee injury. Basically, players who have been in the league this season and are waived by March 1 are allowed to sign with another team and be playoff eligible. Caron Butler was an example last season. But most players in such situations generally already have been paid for the season and are not necessarily in the market for much more than the veteran's minimum. The real issue there is the timing. Yes, the Heat could wait until March 1 to outbid another team on the buyout market. But their need for roster relief would appear to be far more immediate. The exception can be spent between now and March 10, but this appears to be a sooner-rather-than-later situation. Then again, if the Heat can stabilize their situation, it would give them a card they could use down the road (say if they trade one of their point guards and choose to use it on a point guard, instead).

Q: All I know is that Hassan Whiteside has earned playing time and should be a Heat player long term? -- Alfredo.

A: I don't know about "long term" because we haven't had enough of a sample size yet. But if he shows in coming weeks that he can rebound, block shots and, most importantly, defend, then I could envision the possibility of the Heat trading Chris Andersen (one of their few trade chips), perhaps as a means of getting back into the draft, and giving Whiteside additional time. I think it is already is apparent that Whiteside will make it through the Jan. 10 guarantee date. His energy and sized helped Saturday against the Grizzlies, but he still is raw, very raw. He needs to add strength and play a bit more under control.

Q: The Grizzlies were playing a back-to-back game and were stronger than the Heat at the start and at the finish. What does that say? -- Evan.

A: That the Grizzlies with Zach Randolph are a far, far better team than the Heat without Chris Bosh. The Heat's guard play beyond Dwyane Wade on Saturday night was atrocious. I don't know if Shabazz Napier is the answer, but someone who can make a shot and make a play would be.

Freaking Diva Bosh can practice but still cant commit to play? Clearly Spoles has let the inmates run the asylum here. I think we should fire Spoles and cut Bosh.
