There have been many signs of proof of it, people just ignore it to try and place blame elsewhere - But, this start is a sign that the problem lies within the players and nothing else - The effort was there from start to finish last game - not so here.

Minus Deng, the body langauge of our guys suck.

Down 9 already. Too many turnovers and jumpers already. Oh, and to the critics of Spo and our defense - I know your intellligence is not your strength, but consider this - maybe its not bad defense as much as it is better execution by the other team and them dictating what happens. Which means the problem isnt schematic as much as it is mental - the guys have to keep their heads on their assignment and execute appropriately.

This is a bad defensive team no matter how you slice it. And yes, not being able to get rebounds is a part of it.

Lots of turnovers - a lot on Wade and careless once at that. He is not protecting the ball well and often doing so because he is still complaining and upset about not getting a call on the other end.

If close, this may be one of those games where you may have to consider leaving him on the bench late in the game because tonight he is more than prone to making unforced, stupid mistakes

Wade's only had 1 TO. Deng is the one with 3 TOs.

Defensively, the problem with both Chalmers and Cole is that they cant play defense without fouling. Still, this isnt a reason to give Napier their minutes. He still has flaws he needs to fix in practice and D-league stints before getting more PT

Wade trying to play hero ball again with the ball at the end of the half and yet another unforced turnover - Wade style. Chances of cutting lead to 10 at the half gone.

Yes, Deng has multiple turnovers, but getting the job done in other areas - Wade is just turning it over and scoring - not helping elsewhere, especially not on the other end. I think in his mind it might be a sin to play defense and give effort.

Before the game I said we need to be in attack mode with Z-Bo out. We havent done that enough and settling for jumpers

Shawne Williams to the rescue. But this has the looks of one of those games where every time the Heat try to make a run, the opponent answers back with an even bigger one and never let us really get back in it

5 fouls for Whiteside. About the only part of his game he needs to work on - Defense without fouling but thats a problem for us as a whole. He is having a great game otherwise

Gasol misses both free throws and Miami can't get the defensive rebound. This is exactly what I'm talking about.
