After the loss against the Giants the Fins are now OFFICIALLY eliminated from playoff contention. The end of the rah rah, tough guy Campbell era seems to be upon us. His management of certain moments of games has been great lacking the last few weeks and I said that would be a determining factor on whether he stays or goes.

All that being said, hopefully he remains on staff as a position coach or something of the sort. He is a work in progress as an HC and will and should get his shot eventually.

With 3 games left there is still lots for guys to play for individually.

Yep Campbell is green but I don't think that he's worse than Philbin...a little more seasoning and he could be ok. Fins just don't have time for projects.

He's not better either. He's a bit of a fraud really. A rah rah , tough guy but can only seem to do it when things are going well. But thats irrelevant - Has nothing to do with Philbin - he's been gone. Different personalities - sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't.

Like I said, whats killed Campbell's chances more so than the wins and losses is how he has handled game situations - once we get down - he got away from the game plan. Given our minimal playoff chances going into this game, I thought they would be more daring but they weren't - they were as lifeless as their HC on the side lines.

Still, lots of guys are in contract year , so I expect those guys at least to give it everything they got the final games - coaching aside.

Yet another promising start to a drive stalled for the Fins. They did move the ball fairly easily until then - hopefully that can continue and turn into points

On the flip side, Rivers and his mostly no-name WR corps should be able to have their way with this soft Fins D as well especially that secondary

Fins allow Chargers their first TD in 3 weeks. No resistance from the defense on this drive - of course - why would they?

A good stop by our defense thankfully. Lets see if the rest of the offense can help Tannehill a little better this time

Reshad Jones makes a play then turns it over himself holding the ball loose. Its been that kind of season

Would like to hear the thoughts of the few fans that have stuck around during these times. The " Philbin has lost the locker room" 'team has quit on Philbin" narrative was beaten to the death while Philbin was here earlier in the season and that was constantly used as an excuse to fire the guy.

Id say between the point that last game got away from the Fins and now guys have " quit on" Campbell as well - What say you? Or will more excuses be made for him because he is the interim coach of the train wreck?

I thought that these guys would play with pride and at least for their own personal gains at this point if not for the team, but that doesn't seem to be the case outside of Reshad Jones. That tough guy crap that Campbell was spitting earlier in the season got real old, real fast as I expected. The guy will make a great position coach but he doesn't have it yet for the HC position.

This is proof that while Joe Philbin probably wasn't the answer - Campbell is obviously not the solution - and maybe now people realize just maybe that the players do deserve some blame in this?

And, this again is proof that it won't matter what coach the Fins get if some of these personalities on the roster don't get a makeover

10 carries for 13 yards doesn't help. We haven't run enough plays thats the only reason why run/pass is balanced. The play calling has been terrible as usual so the results are expected

At least Ajayi scored a TD there... imagine if tough guy Campbell hadn't given up on the run so early

Grimes finally makes a positive impact today - of course it comes when this game and season means nothing

This game was lost when Reshad Jones fumbled that pick - Fins got down early and of course Campbell went soft and got away from the running game.
