Another long season awaits the Fins. Another season of underachievement. Another season that will fall short of the ultimate goal because the team refuses to address the quarterback spot with someone of quality -- instead, continuing to shove Terrible Tua down our throats.

Skylar Thompson proved to be the better QB all camp long - but here we are.

Another subpar season awaits. Another season that will be filled with excuses for Terrible Tua by his fan club - when he fails to take this organization to the top yet again.

And we get to kickoff the season against the Cheatriots, who have the better of the Alabama QBs in this matchup.

It's likely that Tua will outplay Jones and win game 1. Yet, I am confident you will still wine about Tua even in victory. I have learned that it's a waste of time to try to convince you that Tua is a talented player with a high ceiling.

Tua hasn't lost to the Pats yet and I don't see him losing game 1. The team has a lot more talent on offense and better coaches.

RE Thompson: I also see him as a special talent. I think that they will keep him even if they have to trade Bridgewater to teams like the Panthers or Steelers. They will likely keep 3 QBs and Thompson will be the backup next year.

Today is the day . Today is the day we begin to see terrible Tua is the same bum as always and a waste and bust of a draft pick . Today is the beginning of Mike McDaniel on the hot seat for supporting a bum as his QB. Another season of failure and mediocrity awaits .

It will mean it is just one game. What is this? Year 4? No rookie of the year for him. No pro-bowl. No MVP. Nothing. He was the 5th pick -- after the Dolphins tanked a season that had potential - sacrificed players and their future to reach for him. People started the "Tank for Tua" nonsense. People advertised the kool-aid then they drank the kool-aid - here we are -- still no Superbowl - no individual accomplishments for him. This is why he is and will always be a bust to me. People talked about him as if he was the next best thing, if not for this league, for this franchise. And here we are still in mediocrity. Don't talk to me about what could be. That is all speculation. I deal with reality. And the reality is, that this organization has continued to fall short with the guy people claimed was the next best thing. For this reason, to me, he is and will always be a bust.

When he puts up numbers that rank him in the top 5-10 among NFL QBs, when he makes a pro-bowl, an MVP - a SB, then ill give him his due. He was the 5th pick and was advertised by so many idiots in this fan base, and this message board in particular, as this good-great QB, he has been anything but that. I will continue to be critical until he meets the expectations of a 5th pick - of a pick that was worth everything this organization sacrificed to get it.

You, nor anyone here has to like or agree with what I say. I will continue to say it until he meets the standard. You all can continue to make excuses for him every time he falls short. For me, the excuses ended the day he was drafted - and even more so the day he became the starter -- which was actually a job that was given to him - he certainly did not earn it.

Your inability to accept facts and other people's (@FanofPelicans) counter opinions turns off 99% of Dolphins' fans and they refuse to participate in threads where you ruin their day.

Patriots have lost four of their last five in Miami. Maybe that will make you feel better.

Rowe is great at covering TEs. He will be missed. That said, the Fins have some very good safeties who are capable of stepping up.

I am glad that NT Davis isn't on that list. Stopping the run is high priority

He should have protected the ball if nothing there and ate it no doubt. But overall they moved the ball and seeing Hill wide open will make things easier that's for sure. Tua never had that all last season.
