I kind of find it amazing woth how much people use tech. How quick people forget it can be flawed and easily manipulated. And this isn’t even getting into deleting texts etc... to give a text chain an entirely different meaning. You would either need a complete record or cloud back up. Or both phones which you may not see Zach Smiths phone until after legal if this was tampered with. But I would g be surprised it makes great click bait for McMurphy. To get a bigger paycheck going for the Meyers angle insteadSomeone demonstrated this on Brett McMurphy's twitter feed.
Shouldn't you be tagging a mod right about now.You mean like the whore you beat on?
Fuck off woman beaterShouldn't you be tagging a mod right about now.
Actually, I have no idea. What I think I know is that Gene Smith found out first. I think he called Zach Smith home from a recruiting trip (according to Zach). I think Gene must has conferred with Urban about it because Zach said Urban confronted him at practice. Zach says that Urban told him that if there was any violence, he would be fired on the spot.See, I didn't even know about this.
Do Police Departments do that kind of stuff, I mean, call a person's employer and tell them what is going on?
This is part of the problem. McMurphy is claiming arrests involving Smith. And felony assaults etc...as per the police departments. Which seems odd SC couldn’t legally release their reports last year. Without the consent of both Katz and Boermeester. And it seems he uses the allegedly tag quite a bit as cover. As far as Meyers this looks a lot more like McMurphy is bordering the line between playing investigator/presecutor. And working the story to suit his agenda. Rather than allowing the proper channels to do their job. And report the actual news after the actual investigation is complete. Causing an awful lot of grey areas and conflicting “information” in the process. In essence he’s created another case of Twitter court imo...... We don’t know the actual timeline, actions, procedures taken ....A lot of contradicting stories rather than actual newsActually, I have no idea. What I am certain about is that the police didn't refer Zach to the prosecutor to confer charges. I assume because of that, Zach wasn't fired in 2015.
Then, he was charged (not arrested) in 2018 for "Criminal Trespassing" and was fired as soon as the university found out about it.
It will be interesting to see how this all turns out but the report this "committee" or whatever they are calling it is airtight because the press is out for blood. If he is fired, Urban will be out for money.
FWIW, OSU doesn't exactly have great luck with firing coaches. The basketball coach handed an envelope of cash to a recruit and ended up suing the university because he was fired. The coach won and cleaned their clock. How bad do your lawyers have to be for that to be the result?
I’d guess Meyer lied to the media because he didn’t want to air this couple’s dirty laundry to the world.

If it was Austin did Tom Herman know?

Idk depends on what reports you’re going by. If the other reports are correct. McMurphy is no better than Meyers by the standards being used.....This is absurd. This incident happened in 2015 and is only coming to light in 2018, because McMurphy brought them to light. Proper channels? If proper channels had been followed this wouldn’t be a story today
Sorry dude I don’t believe everything one writes on twitter. Especially when money is involved. Which is why if he was wrong or misleading once the actual investigation is released. McMurphy should be held accountable....Twitter can be a great tool for marketing etc...But it can also be a very dangerous weapon that’s factThis typical. Let’s go with a tin foil hat explaination and let’s prove it by going to an absurdity. We have to make The leap that multiple people are in on falsifying documents and have kept it quiet. If the texts had 0 veracity why did Meyer reverse course and by the way that is now the bigger story for Ohio State. There are no articles about the domestic violence they are about Meyer. This is like holding on to the “it was tattoos” and missing that a HC lies to the NCAA to cover them up.

And McMurphy claimed arrests including a felony arrest. Which looks like it may be.....falseMeyer denied any knowledge of the incident. He than did an about face and admitted he lied. Let’s be honest Meyer only self-serving my fired him after it came to light 3 years later, so pardon me if I do not trust the proper channels to clean this up.
It’s kinda hard not to question McMurphys credibility. Especially if he was wrong about the arrests. And if he’s using this story to cash in. At the expense of Meyers using allegedly’s etc... If he loses his job or it winds up McMurphy was using false information. Meyers should be entitled to take actions against McMurphy imo.....It may happen, but Meyer’s about face destroyed his credibility and did nothing but bolster McMurphys. Things can change over time, but that’s where we are today.
There would be a massive decline in coaches in college football imoI've posted this a couple of times but no one has reacted at all. People should be really careful what they are asking for, especially if they like their coach.
I'm looking forward to every D1 program coming clean.
Do you now or did you ever:
Have a coach on your staff accused of Domestic Violence (does not matter if they were charged, accusations are enough)?
If he ever lied to a reporter at a press conference, fire him.
- Did your head coach know about it?
- If he didn't, he should have. Fire him.
- If he did and didn't report it, Fire him.
- If he did and reported it but didn't fire the accused:
- Did the police know?
- Yes? Fire him
- No? Fire him yesterday.
I think Reece Davis said it best the other day: "If every coach who lied to the media were fired, there would be no football coaches."There would be a massive decline in coaches in college football imo
Worded themselves wrong, said something the media could twist....I get some people hate Meyers or how a UM or Michigan fan would break out the torches because OSU. But I haven’t seen anything other than a Twitter reporter who looks like his info doesn’t add up. Speculation and opinion. I’m hoping this run to the press with a story doesn’t become a trend. Last year it was SC. This year OSU....I think Reece Davis said it best the other day: "If every coach who lied to the media were fired, there would be no football coaches."
