I am totally down with decimal point scoring. Ties suck. The only thing I don't like about any of the rule changes that have been proposed/passed is that Will of White has not chimed in. Bums me out for 2 reasons: #1 is that he pretty much started it (with Foot pushing him/us into it haha) and #2 is that, well I think maybe Will IS actually done.......................so @wilwhite what say you?

its funny... I don't like the decimal... Never understood why people swear by it... to say that there is not a big difference between 99 yards and a hundred yards is said by people that don't understand what they are arguing IMO...
I'm my money league we A) Would seem to have at least 1 tie a year and usually 2 and B) With the way the divisions are set up we pretty much HAD to have a tie-breaker (also the way the money is distributed) and finally C) Never really did figure out a fair way to break ties (ended up going with bench points, which is fine if you're the guy carrying 3 QB's and no players on bye). Last year I was finally able to get these jokers to pass the decimal scoring (after trying for 3 years) and there were no ties. I hate change especially in the MBBRL but I think this is a good one.

Are ties that big of an issue?? Looking at last season, we didn't have even one tie... and the previous season there was only 2... If preventing ties is the goal then so be it... but that is just such a minor issue IMO.... and it weakens the value of a point IMO...

Everything has my blessing! Bandit is the Roger Waters to my Syd Barrett, the Brian Johnson to my Bon Scott, the Dick Sargent to my Dick York.

And yes... I am still out.

How does it weaken the value of a point? Decimal scoring more accurately reflects what a player has done.

The difference between 99 and 100 is a bad spot. The difference between 99 and 90 is significant and should be rewarded. There is no downside to decimal scoring.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Who cares about ties?
Have you ever had a day where you lost by a couple of points?
But your RB's had 77 yards rushing, 38 yards receiving, and your WR and TE were also pushing 66 yards of receiving...

Mathematically, that's (((.7 + .8) * 2)+(.6 * 3)) = 4.8 points your team didn't get credit for!

Yes love decimal scoring. If fully rewards or penalizes for performance

Alright, well get a poll for decimal scoring going.

Couple questions- this will apply to yardage totals for QB/RB/WR/TE...kickers and D's, and all other scoring options for the previously mentioned positions will remain the same right?

And also, with rushing receiving yardage that'll be easy. .10 yards equals 1 pt. Becomes 1 yard equals 0.1 pts.
But, passing yards are currently set at 1 point per 25 yards. Obviously we can't do 0.1 pts. per 2.5 yards. .so do we do 0.1 per 2 yards, or 0.1 per 3 yards?

i dont think you need the poll
its pretty unanimous

but poll away

as for what Sam said

i also am super strongly against change in the MBBRL except the new Dynastys
this is the one change that makes perfect sense

Think bandit mentioned .04 per pass yard
