Alright boys, I'm ready! I’m not here to carry pads, I’m here to take someone’s job!
Metaphorically speaking.
And what the hell, I might as well get a jump start on annoying Treff.
What? Nothing Chef does annoys me!Alright boys, I'm ready! I’m not here to carry pads, I’m here to take someone’s job!

And by gawd he won't be carrying pads. ..might give CJ a ride to the welfare office, but his pads don't get a ride
I am doing the draft in D2 the same way you just mentioned. It was done that way in the first Dynasty and seemed to be about the fairest way.
I also have something I am calling rotating divisions for that league to vote on. It would only work with 16 teams, but it is for about the same reasons you mentioned that I came up with it.
I honestly don't see a problem with that but IMO it would have to be the same across both leagues.............@TREFF @wilwhite @Yellow Fuzzies @Ram Tough @leftypower @tlance @Chef99 @MilkSpiller22 @SteelersPride @FaCe-LeE-uS @TKOSpikes @averagejoe @SmokingMonkey @Sam Sportboy @Microwahevo @The Foot @broncosmitty @bksballer89 @SoShady @Trudem @Stomp @HaroldSeattle @obxyankeefan @Barilko
It might be too early to bring this up, but I was wondering what everybody thought of instead of letting the randomizer choose our actual draft positions and it's set in stone to just letting the randomizer pick the order in which we get to select our draft position. For instance, instead of the person that gets #1 getting the first pick automatically, they get to instead choose what position they would like to draft from first. They might still choose #1, but they would have the option of any draft position. Then so on down the list until #12 just gets whatever draft spot is left. I think it would make things a little bit more interesting.
Also while we're at it, is there a reason that the teams in each division never change? Was this part of the MBBRL plan? I know that it essentially doesn't matter because we are all good, but the exact same four teams made the playoffs last year as the year before. And on a personal note it just might be nice to not have to play freaking Tlance twice a year every year.
Now that I've spoken about both of those things, this is what I propose and you can all tell me that I'm an idiot for bringing this up. I know that a lot of guys don't like to change anything, but I don't think any of this messes with the great formula the founding MBBRL fathers had in mind. I think we should combine choosing the draft positions with what division the team will be in. That would add a wrinkle into picking your draft spot. The Aramis division could be draft spots 1, 4, 7, 10, the Athos division could be draft spots 2, 5, 8, 11, and the Porthos division could be draft spots 3, 6, 9, 12. That way if there was somebody that you want to avoid being in the same division with, it would affect which draft spot you choose also. So let's say I get #2 and Tlance drew #1 and he chose draft spot #12 which would put him in the Porthos division. Even if I really wanted to draft #3 I wouldn't choose it because that would put me in the same damn division as him again. This would make it a little bit extra work on our wonderful commish, but I think he can handle it
It's just a thought and I think it would be a lot of fun, but it's not like I'm not going to play if you guys disagree with me.

None that I'm aware of. .but. .probably need to get a roll call going to eh?BTW, did we lose any members this year?
Love the idea of picking what spot we draft.
