In other news, George springer appeared to pull a hammy last night in Houston. He has already had back trouble the week prior.

I feel bad for him on a personal level, but I am crossing my fingers that he will miss both of our series in early July. I hate seeing that guy hit against us.

i predicted that people would say “Roogie is back” after his series with the royals, but I also predicted he would fall back into trouble after we left Kansas City.

I actually think you want him to fail so you can say something about it. Even when he would do something you would say something negative about him. You might as well root for the guy because we have no 2B of the future at this point as well as a 3B. I agree he has stunk but might as well pull for the guy to get going in the right direction because the Rangers need it to happen.

Patience ladies...

The Rangers knew this one was important for starter Drew Smyly. He held the Angels to three runs in six innings and earned his first win since Sept. 13, 2016, after the Rangers rallied for the victory.

The Rangers, in addition to winning five straight, have won eight of their last nine. The pitching staff has a 3.18 ERA in that stretch.

Now can they keep this up?

And who do we have that still requires some patience, about 6-8 more players.

There for awhile, Fraley was having in-game chats while the Rangers played. I always enjoyed conversing with him during those. I remember him being so wrong about Pudge when Pudge left. I brought it up years later with him and he was very courteous about it. A lot of guys would have gotten defensive and angry, but he handled it very well.
