Nick is showing that he just needed some playing time. Love his bat!

Love it when the Phillies hit! Nice output tonight! Cutch made a great play in center robbing the Marlins of extra bases.
Neris made me bite my nails but he got the job done. GO PHILLIES!

Gabe should act quickly next time when he lets Arietta remain in the game and then proceeds to give up a few hits. He already had 85 pitches or so thru five.

Then, It’s very scary when a 10-5 lead does not mean the game is in the bag. De Los Santos and Dominguez each gave up two ER In the 7th and 8th. Fortunately the Phils power hitting parade made up for poor pitching.

Well, well, well. What do we have here? The Phillies move ahead of everyone in the NL East. Nice win with the fish as the Muts have lost 3-in-a-row and the Bitches lose again.

The Phillies had 4 hits today, Segura had 3 of them! This will not work against better teams.

If Pivetta can come back and perform like Eflin, improve like Velasquez and Eickhof, then, as the more experienced Nola and Arietta get more consistent, the Phils will be on their way. There’s gotta be four solid starters and a long reliever in there somewhere. That’s how I see this going. Give it some time. My money’s on it. :suds:

We did create a little distance between ourselves and the Bitches and Muts. Hopefully we will continue this in the Detoilet series.

Damn, I haven’t the word Dildoes in some time. I don’t think we’re back there yet. I may use it tomorrow if Nola goes full retard and we get less than 8 hits.
