Women have been competing in track & field for decades now. The fastest woman who ever lived was Florence Griffith-Joyner, and she would have ran about a 4.5 - 4.6 in the 40 yard dash. She weighed like 130 pounds! There men in the NL who run that fast and are double her weight. She would literally die on the football field if she tried to compete with these behemoths.

It wouldn't be fair to look at whites vs blacks in hockey. Let's look at North Americans vs Russians. Russians have only really had the opportunity to play in the NFL for the last 25 years or so. Yet somehow guys like Alex Ovechkin and Evgenyi Malkin are among the best players in the world.

I believe that if it was as easy for women/girls to walk on to a football field over the last 130 years as it has been for men then eventually at least one woman talented enough would have emerged as an NFL kicker. You say the record for a woman kicking a field goal is 43 yards. The record in the NFL up until 1970 was 56 yards (13 yards difference), and it took them almost 70 years to get that far. How long do you think it will be before at least one woman comes along who can kick 50+? That's another stupid argument. You can't even compare individual event sports, to a team sport with a set number of teams. Are there 32-64 track runners who can all beat 10.49? And can you say the same for every individual track event? Again, I'm out. Won't be pulled back again.

There is so much wrong in this post. You act as if it's fluke as to how far people can kick a FG and if they try enough times it will happen. You may have noticed, but equipment and training have changed a significant amount since 1970. The women that take up the sport now are not stuck with the same cleats and footballs that guys used in the 1960s. They are allowed to work out just as much as the guys that play today are, with the same equipment the men use. They understand the importance of nutrition and healthy lifestyles just as much as the men do. It isn't as if the women that play today warm up before they kick by smoking a Marlboro Light and have a glass of scotch.

Also, EVERY kicker in the NFL can kick a 50 yard FG today. That isn't a standard. For a woman to kick in the NFL she has to be able to do everything at least as well as the 32nd best kicker in the world. That's FGs (with a rush, not off a tee), kickoffs (depth and hangtime) and tackle.

You also need to find a woman that WANTS to do that.
