Pressure aside, she is a 5'7", 130 pound, 37 year old female. What is she going to do on kickoffs that are returned? Unless the punter is handling kickoff duties, no team is going to take up 2 roster spots so they can have Lloyd kick for them.

This is a silly gimmick. Sure it would be cool t see, but if any team or female player was serious about making an NFL team, the female player would need to be a LARGE person. A female Seabass, if you will.

As I already mentioned, it's a stone cold gimmick for the final week of pre-season in which nothing of note happens. This would have drawn attention.

Her kicking FG would be contingent on her putting kickoffs out of the end zone.
Size certainly helps, but there have been kickers at 170-180 lbs that have had success.
No idea if she would choose to 'bulk' up if she takes this seriously.

I'm curious how her 100-yard and shuttle times would compare to other kickers.
While it's mostly a bad idea, I'd kick the tires on it if I were a Bears fan.

I was all for it but then I saw her interview and could tell she was mid to late 30's. Odd time to crack into the nfl man or woman.

My only concern for women kickers would be the kickoffs. If they eventually eliminate the kickoff I could see it work.

Watch a youtube of Baylor/Mich St kicker....and see why this would be a terrible idea.

Do kickers actually run the shuttle :noidea:

Who won the game?
My only concern is that when a kick is blocked or there is a fumble and the ball is in play, if anyone hits her there will be instant calls for punishment because she was "targeted" or the unnecessary roughness was only because she is a woman.

Also, in a game she would only get two steps and would have to stand still before the snap. Let's see her do that kick without a 5 step windup.

NFL kickers ten years younger can barely take some of these hits, I can't imagine it ending well at her size and never absorbing one before.

I think it would be pretty cool to see someone make this jump, I'm just not sure it will be her.

But for a 90 man, er person, roster preseason game it would be cool to see her rolled out there for a FG and some extra points.

Hell, I'd even call a fake and see if she could throw it. Week 4 preseason, why not? At least someone would watch the game then.

I cant imagine her being 5'3" does her any favors in elevating the ball over the line consistently

Yet Kyler Murray was drafted #1 overall and just barely taller than that.
