No. He primarily played outside CB the last two years for the Steeler's.
From what I have read is he has moved outside out of necessity, but lacks long speed. Slot is where he should be?

I don't have a lot of strong views on this because it was not on my radar, but curious how it ends up

Na, it looks like they have an out after 2. So they are adding elite pressure to one of the best passrushes in the NFL, if it pans out great, if not they get out.

Pride of Detroit had him Dean, Emmanuel Moseley and some other CB as possibilities.

40M guaranteed as an out after two years is a little bit much unless they have 3 void years tied to that contract. We'll have to wait 3-5 days to see it on OTC.

It was a throw in comment in the stream I am watching. It has not been confirmed

I had a sneaky suspicion it would be Sutton because of less $$$$$$.
Pride of Detroit had been promoting him as the one to be signed and I believe Lions Wire too.

I thought BH and DC and AG might go after this guy as he played for the Saints, but surely not at this large of $$$$ spent.

AS usual crazy $$$$ being spent that teams will regret.

I should pay more attention to what @Thruthefog states.

AND FUCK Aaron Rodger's and wherever he ends up.

And I haven't even begun to dip into anything YET.

As first reported by Ian Rapoport, the Lions have agreed to terms with former Steelers cornerback Cameron Sutton. Per Rapoport, it’s a three-year deal worth $33 million with $22.5 million guaranteed.

Per PFF, he allowed just 411 receiving yards last season, good for ninth among cornerbacks who played at least 400 coverage snaps last year.

Sutton is also capable of playing both inside and outside cornerback, but favors playing the outside, even though he’s slightly undersized (5-foot-11, 188 pounds).

Per superbelt he played everywhere including some safety. Sounds like he will be the new Will Harris, only good at football

I will walk the plank if that contract given to Sutton doesn't include a 4th year that is a void year.
