Alex Anzalone back to the Den for 3-years and 18.75M according to SpoTrac

I haven't read it anywhere else as of yet.

Tremaine Edmunds receives 4-year, 72M, 50M Guaranteed from the Bears. He had a career year in 2022 after 5-years in the league and gets all of that.

They planning to move Edwards to WLB or something?

Yes, but I guess they went with the player who knows the system and all of the other so-called intangibles.

TJ's contract hasn't been posted on SpoTrac at this time, so I have no clue what's going on.

Edmunds is by far the more athletic so maybe Edmunds is the WILL. IDK.

Patrick Peterson to the Steeler's.

I thought they signed Jamel Dean?

You're not alone in that swamp ridden with Gator's.

Maybe Anzalone's contract calls for 6M Guaranteed or something like that. A contract that they can easily get out of relatively soon.

It could mean No Jack Campbell in this draft which will suck. Then again, who knows.

I think I was wrong on that, it was a quick throw in that was never verified.

I guess it could still happen. Free agency is filled with rumors.
Lying season is 24/7 - 365 in the NFL and not only free agency.

It seems like a lot more money than you would expect to just be an extension of the coach.

From that POD article

“He’s playing at a high level, he’s the quarterback of our defense,” coach Dan Campbell said back in December. “He’s versatile, he’s a really good athlete. He’s smart, he knows exactly what (Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn) AG’s looking for. He knows the situations that come up. He gets everything in order and he’s another guy, man. He’s a big locker room guy, man, the guys love him, and he knows – they know he’d do anything for them. So, he’s playing at a high level and I’m glad we got him.”

If Rodrigo makes a jump in reading his keys and being better at diagnosing plays in 2023 that could benefit Anzalone in a huge way. The latter stated back in the latter part of the season how much easier 2022 was for him having a reliable player next to him versus the mish mash of 2021. I'm obviously paraphrasing the content he stated.

Dean back to the bucs. 4/52

Ahh, okay then. Seems like a huge reduction from what both SpoTrac and PFF predicted which was 17M per year from each of them.

Bucs surely don't have a QB at this time and they had to re-structure so damn many contracts you give them, at best, two-years before they're belly up broke just like the Rams. Philly and 49'ers will be there as well.
