Their d line is nasty, they might have 10 sacks if bevell doesnt find his.

I believe the Seahawks defense can hold down Dalton and the offense. I'm very worried about Cincy's DLine against our "OLine"

Their O-line vs our D-line will be a great matchup.

Our O-line vs their D-line, could be problematic.

I think we're going to need our DB's to get off the schneid on the INTC's (maybe a LB'er could chip in).

Hard for a team to win 5 straight, sooner or later you have a bad day. We got that going for us.

This will be a great match up. I hope Marshawn is healthy and ready to go.
Another dosage of baptism by fire for the OL.

be careful calling the Bengals overrated. dominating on the road in Week 1 is always a sign of a good team because, regardless of competition, the home team will always be 'up' for that game. and the Raiders are improved overall. and winning at Baltimore when the Ravens were especially desperate for a win was also another sign of a very good team. you can't just brush off such wins in the NFL.

and at home, they controlled both the Chargers and Chiefs. Chargers got a late score to make the game look somewhat close, but the Bengals were in total control there. Chiefs are better than the Chargers, so the Bengals' performance against them last Sunday was an even better indicator.

when you combine that with the 10am starting time and the Hawks' notorious slow starts in all games, it's extremely concerning. type of game that typically only goes one of two ways.. either a blowout by the home team or a very close win by the road team.

Hawks' defense will either need to score, or set up a few very short fields in order for the Hawks' to have any chance at winning. the glaring weakness of the Hawks' OL makes it next to impossible to maintain long drives, especially on the road in loud conditions. if the Hawks are stuck with bad field position all game, it's very hard to see how they'll score anything more than 10-17 points max.

Guess the Seahawks are underdogs for a reason. Kind of surprise the point spread is only one point though. Vegas know their stuff when setting a line.

Might be about that time that the Bengals stumble and the Seahawks play better......maybe.

it opened at -1, but it's -3 everywhere now. but yeah, the opener was surprisingly low. too low in fact. the sportsbooks obviously didn't get even action on that line, so something definitely stinks a bit. hopefully what that means is that everyone will continue to bet on Bengals and the Hawks' will pull out a win from nowhere. if the Bengals cover, it's going to hurt the books a lot because the action is just so lopsided right now.

Once they set a line, they let the betting action move it. Their pretty dang good, so those down on the Seahawks should take heed. Vegas still has confidence in the Seahawks. Seahawks fans should also.

Vegas isn't going to decide who wins this game. Hawks D is much improved with Kam back, but this will be their first road game as a full unit and are going against a hot team on a short week at 10am.

Can the Hawks win? Of course. They have the defense that can shut down just about anyone, however I'm not expecting it. They have too many issues on offense to be a serious road threat.

You cant win every game, even the home ones. That, and dalton has a history of wilting under pressure and against good defenses.

Bengals are a 10-6 or 11-5 type of team so they aren't a fluke at all.

But compared to the other undefeated teams like Green Bay or New England...they are clearly one notch below them.

They will certainly present a challenge. Their defensive line is going to wreck havoc against us. Talent wise I've always said that the Bengals from top to bottom...minus the QB are probably a top 3 team. They have a premier #1 WR in AJ Green. Good #2 and #3 guys in Sanu and Jones. A top notch tight end (Eifert). Two quality RBs (Hill and Bernard). A good O-line and a very good defense.

If the Bengals had Aaron Rodgers or even Andrew Luck they'd win 13-14 games every year.

Even on the road I think this is a very winnable game for the Seahawks. Our defense is brimming with confidence and should be able to contain the Bengals offense to 13-17 pts. We just need our offense to get a few good drives going and captalize on them with TDs and not settle for FGs once we get in the red zone.

That 4th and goal from the 35 last week was something only the Seahawks could do. We can not afford to shoot ourselves in the foot like that again going up against a quality team like the Bengals.

Many say this will be a good test and barometer for the Seahawks but I say this is more of a challenge to the untested Bengals.

May the best team win.

Compared to quality of opponents through week 4, this game is a much bigger test for Cincy than it is for the Hawks. We cannot afford to fumble the ball away 3x like the other night, but this situation is not as challenging as going into Lambeau against a healthy Rodgers.

Our O-line vs their D-line, could be problematic.

- said every Seahawks fan before every 2015 game!

OK, now do the same thing with our schedule from our first 4 games from a Bengals perspective. What has been impressive about the Hawks so far other than our defense in the past two games, which if I were a Bengal fan I would point out were both at home to two team with a combined 1-7 record.

I think Cincy is a bonafide threat this year to every team they play. We'll be very fortunate to get a W there in my opinion.

I think Dunlap and Atkins are just going to tear through Seattle's O-Line. I don't feel their linebackers are that great so would be really good to see some quick screens, slants, and more Jimmy Graham over the seam. I think we're going to have very minor success running the ball (again).

I think Seattle is trying to confuse the D-line by blocking every pass play like a screen play

I thought your intention was to bring people back to reality? Miserable fail. This was more like a homer-fueled cheerlead.

This game in Cincy will go a long ways in defining what the Seahawks are about this year. There is no doubt they are one of the most talented teams in the league. But when it comes to heart, so far, they are middle of the pack or maybe slightly below average.

A championsip team needs talent, health, heart and luck. They have the talent and so far the luck too. Their health could be better but it isn't much worse than most teams. But their heart? I haven't seen it yet. And, after throwing big bucks to alot of their stars the past few months, i'd say the lack of heart is a major concern.

See I don't see the 'heart' being absent at all. The execution for parts of the team isn't up to snuff right now, (we all know the culprits), but it's not due to a lack of effort. Guys aren't standing around with blank looks on their faces.
