he has also played 20 more game than Jordan, probably 30 by the time he breaks his scoring "record"

Pretty crazy that he has been in the NBA nearly half his life.

That's amazing, he could get this year. Further cements his legacy as a top 5-10 player of all time.

Yay the NBA gets weaker and weaker. How could he not climb the ladder in playoff stats.

Actually, they were just talking about this on TV the other day. There are more star players in the league today than perhaps ever before. Many are concentrated on the elite teams, but you could assemble a damn impressive team from the leftovers not selected to All NBA.

The league is not lacking talent, there are just more bad teams and the gap between the elite and the bad is probably wider than ever. Now that the playoffs are starting, we don't have to see the crappy teams anymore.

This is true, but as has been pointed out many times, MJ and LeBron are completely different players. MJ was a pure scorer and LeBron is more of a Magic style facilitator.

The fact that he is on track to break this record in his age 32 season is quite remarkable. It does not put him in the conversation with Jordan by any stretch, but just think about how many all time records LeBron could have if he plays until he is 40 something. Kind of crazy.
