There's a lot of talk about this upshaw kid. I'd be shocked if he made team to be honest. All eyes will be on Russell and randle. I thought Gerald green should have made the team several years ago from his play in summer league. He ended up in Phoenix and has been a solid player IMO.

They want rid of him because he doesn't fit their system well enough. They want to play more small ball in a faster tempo game and big men don't really run good. On the other hand, if he plays out the last year of his contract in Los Angeles good enough, he could get a long term contract that works for everyone. It's a win win for the Lakers, because you don't normally start rebuilding with marquee players instantly. You start out by getting these kind of players and then making upgrades year by year

yeah I just think with the lakers way of doing thing you never know. think its much more likely he plays good but not great and he ends up with a spot elsewhere in NBA
