That seems like a severe overdraft. If they want Bresee they can trade down again.
Possibly, but there are a number of mocks out there who have him as a top 10 pick. Most analysts have him ranked as the 2nd best DT in the draft. And with the #1 ranked DT seemingly falling down the order almost by the day, this gives Bresee's ranking some added juice.

I am very interested in what people are thinking of the DT position! :thumb:
What are your impressions now? We have pretty much covered all the top prospects. Do you think Carter is going to get selected out of the top 10?

If he is there at 10 I would be shocked if the Eagles don’t draft him. I don’t think he gets to 10 though.

Jalen Carter is the next Cortez Kennedy... I pray he falls to us at the #5 overall pick... I hope at least 3 teams reach for a QB in front of us so we'd have a shot at drafting Carter...
I’m 100 percent with you on this, we need Carter! That would soldify our D-line big time …

I agree. You can't let a talent like this pass you by if he's there. The team is in win now mode, not 3 years until a QB is maybe ready. We need to make the defense intimidate people. Still a few holes to fill but this kid is a stud. Bringing back Bobby Wagz to show him how it's done will put all the negative shit in the rear view mirror, imo. With Carter in the middle disrupting and Nwosu on the edge, the return of Reed and the versatility of Jones, just need a couple more run stuffers and depth at LB and the defense will be solid. If Carter is there at 5 (which is highly likely), the team just has to jump at that.

Update:

- 7 Defensive Tackle prospects made both CBS Sports and ESPN's top 100: #1 Jalen Carter, #2 Calijah Kancey, #3 Adetomiwa Adebawore, Bryan Bresee, and Mazi Smith, #6 Keion White, and #7 Tuli Tuipilotu.
- Despite all the red flags, Carter's stock hasn't fallen one bit. People are still mocking him as a top 10 selection.

I didn’t realize Ojomo was so young. He’s only 21 despite being a 5th year Senior.
