jealousy and envy permeate when topic involves Lakers/Kobe. It's how it is and Lakers Nation makes sure to give it back when necessary - gotta protect the winningest sports franchise in LA history.

oh yea have no doubt whatsoever this will be a temporary hiatus from being a contender. I'd really like to believe that the Buss clan will not allow their fathers' legacy to be tarnished in any which way by becoming the Celtics of 1987 to 2013 with one itsby bitsy little title. If it does happen you'll probably see them sell the team to the Chinese billionaire who currently owns a 5% stake.

I think it will be a few to several years before you can even be the best team in your own building.

Well I don't mean next year but it wont be a decade, either. Sooner than most if not all other teams. Are you a real Heat fan or a Lebron fan like most of your fanbase? Meaning, will you still be a Heat fan when he leaves?

I agree on the sooner then most teams, and I'm a real Heat fan. Long time STH.

I sat there through a 15 win season. Hope to never do it again, but I would.
