This author articulates fairly well why the Lakers effed-themselves when they went the route of trading what they did to get Westbrook and what he has manifested on the playing floor since he has been with the Lakers. And now, according to many including this dude, the Lakers may not be able to rid themselves of Westbrook due to that albatross (Short-Buss-like) contract.

I think without AD.....he and James can turn it around. It's just 2 elite guys who need the ball but RW has to be more of a driver than a shooter. James can still put up 30-plus points but he needs RW to be more efficient.

This is why I would not like the Lakers to trade for John Wall just get rid of Westbrook. The reason is Wall's contract is just like Westbrook's so we would not be doing ourselves any favors and just continuing in the present problem rather than removing it.

I wouldn't mind Shump. He could help defensively but Beasley is all offense and we don't need that.

I like these new guys the Lakers signed. The Jones Brothers, Mason and Jemerrio and Stanley Johnson. Collison's 10-day contract is going to not be extended. He is horrible and should remain retired. Another bad idea involving an old guy.

Because he totally sucks and is useless after being retired for two years. WTH are the Lakers even thinking Collison would be viable. He looks retired and they'd be stupid to give him another one!
