Sandberg needs to go with a more standard lineup. Why waste the speedy hitting talents of Revere by demoting him in the lineup, platooning him with .200 Gwynn, or using him to pinch hit? The guy is a proven .300 hitter who will now just get rustier on the bench and it's Ryno's fault. I would let Revere and Rollins bat 1 and 2. Of course, now that Revere is so rusty, it will take time to get back in the groove. Ryno is a jerk.

I agree jvett. This offense has grinded to a halt again and Sandberg has to find a line-up that generates offense consistently and stick with it. He keeps platooning and jerking people around. Asche was a classic example and now it is Revere. As soon as he stopped platooning Asche, Asche responded with decent consistency. He should do the same with Revere.

Howard- 25 K's in 50 AB's against lefties. But continue to start him against them (especially good ones) Sandberg.
