Actually, retro, I was being facetious about Hans like who the heck is that guy? :pound:
Well, I wasn't. I believe Crouse may develop into a decent ball player. Sort of like D. Hall or could be another dumpster dive project that will eventually wash-out.

I think you got that right, retro. Ortiz and Vasquez did well in their first few years in the minors. Amazingly, they each hit the skids in 2019, each with about 50 Ks and 31 BB.
I suppose the Phillies think they need more Bellattis, Nelsons, and Dominguezs, I guess. Got to keep thay Parade of Douchebag of pitchers fully stocked.

How about SF free agent lefty Carlos Rodon, 29, 14-8, 2.88, 237K. One of the few FAs under 30. Current $22 million.
Would love it.
Wheeler (Right)
Rodon (Left)
Nola (Right)
Ranger (Left)
Painter (Right)
Would be one heck of a rotation.

Didn't realize you had earlier recommended getting Rodon previous page.
When I heard the Bogarts interest I was pretty excited. I mean since it’s not my money I’m taking Turner over Bogarts all day long. But the Phil’s need to do more than address one position. They do that best shopping in the Bogarts Swanson price range not the Turner Correa price range. I like that Dombrowski has some experience with Bogarts. Oddly enough, at 29 years old he has his best year as a fielder and is up for the Gold Glove.

The big issue I have with Castellanos is that he swings at everything right from pitch 1
He’s like that chucker you get stuck with in a pick up basketball game who shoots it from half court as soon as he gets the ball
I threw a crumpled up paper at my tv during the playoffs and I swore I saw Castellanos swing

that was terrible. I wish I could erase it but it's too late. I'll have something better if they actually sign Bogaerts

Since it is the off-season, there is a new off-season thread. Go on over everyone.
