Has there ever been a playoff series featuring a total of 213 wins before??

They said Muncy had a dislocated elbow. Don’t know how bad it was, but I’ve had one. Took weeks to get even close to full mobility. Now that was back in 2005, so maybe more modern methods along with best of the best doctors can change that timeline. That said, if we have to face the Dodgers, I’d rather it be without Muncy for some time and in a best of 5 rather than a best of 7.

Nope…

Spanks only had 95 wins that year. So a total of 211…

I just want to state, after the fact now as well…

This has to go down as one of the greatest MLB playoff series’ in the history of the game.

213 regular wins between the two teams is the most ever by a comfortable margin.

The first post season matchup between one of the top 2 rivalries in the game.

The series went 5 and game 5 was tied going into the 9th inning.

Add in a controversial ending.

Sort of funny how things tend to workout in the end .... this was a great season for us! A little bittersweet at the end .... but great non the less!

The funny part ... I only followed the ALT/LA series because I wanted to root against LA. Had no real emotional ties to the game .... just wanted to see them lose!

Now that they are gone .... I seem to have very little interest in the WS. Nobody to root against (with somewhat of a vengence) ... and no team I am really fond of. Sort of going to be a very long wait for Spring Training to begin ......

I won’t watch more than a few innings of the Series, most likely. While I am “rooting” for the Braves, I don’t REALLY care who wins. I just HATE AL ball.

But I am totally OK with being bored with this Series. Better than the alternative.
