In the EC, I can see Boston winning 58-60 games rather easily.
Yes. I think with this trade they have a good chance of coming out of the East. If I'm GS (or any team with the capability) I will run the pick & roll - Kyrie & Hayward on James & IT ALL DAY. It doesn't matter really who the other guy is as long as IT is included because he can't guard ANYONE really.

Why does everyone talk about you like you're some big jerkoff troll? By everything I've read from you, you're knowledgeable about the sport not a total homer.
not only that but- MATH also

I can do math and have a strong understanding of the CBA. Simple addition and subtraction.

When simple math and the CBA gets in the way of hopes and dreams of people who are delusional-- and you tell people this- they usually get angry- or try and shrug it off as- "who knows what will happen- we will be fine".

Yep. I think that's why they found him expendable. He just needs PT.

Sure. Crowder isn't a core piece to a championship winning team. He's more like Iguadalo than Steph Curry.

But that doesn't change the fact that the Celtics are going to miss him as a bench player.

I still am not 100% convinced that Thomas wont be moved again.

I THINK he will prob. stay in Cleveland- but i am not 100% sure.

Possible. While the Celtics have been holding conference calls and posting welcome tweets, the Cavs have been fairly quiet in terms of welcoming the new guys.

Yep. The Celtics have added Irving and Hayward.

But they've also lost 4 starters and only have 4 players on roster from last year. They should be a top team in the East, but I don't think we really know who the Celtics are yet.

Talent wins in the NBA

The Celtics have a fuckload more than they have since 2010
this is true.

I would have made the moves the Celtics did--- getting Irving and Hayward. Stars win in this league.

The only problem for the Celtics in the short term that getting rid of guys like Crowder, Bradley, Johnson etc- leaves them pretty thin on secondary players for the IMMEDIATE future

eventually- guys like Brown and Tatum will not only be great "secondary" players- they can/will become stars in their own right.

Hey--- I think the Celtics are going to own the East with the Sixers 2-3 years from now (If LeBron stays in Cleveland 2 more years)....but as of right now- Cleveland has the edge.

No. But, I will bet you the C's win more games than the Cavs when the season gets a little closer.
bottom line is the Cavs don't get better by trading Kyrie for IT.

Guershon and Semi are brick shithouses, they may be able to help out a little. But who really knows? I don't know shit about my own team lol.

I know exactly who the Celtics are. They're an NBA team located in Boston.

Maybe not but the Cavs did get shorter. IT's only 5-5 w/o his sneakers on.
