Got no problem with giving up on Pryor. Looks like he may not be the same after that injury last year. Remember when Capps and Pryor were supposed to be the future bullpen just two years ago. Bullpen guys are so unpredictable and a dime a dozen.

I think Kendry's is owed around 4 mil and we are saving around the same in Hart's incentives so a wash. Pretty much got him for nothing so we should be able to make another move

I would think this puts the dagger in seeing Smoak back up with the team as well.

I'm trying to figure out the math, but I'm an English teacher.

He was owed around $7.4 million when he first started playing for the Twins this year, 40 games ago. With 60 games or so to go, how much does that leave?

i'm so stupid sometimes. had it in my brain that there were 100 games left, not that we had already played 100. derp.

Considering what was floated out there in terms of what the Mariners had been offering him in the offseason, I think $4.3 million is pretty cheap.

And Hart not expected to reach his incentives mean M's save about $4M on him. Funny how that worked out.

Also keep hearing Taylor is to be called up and Bloomy got dinged up yesterday. Calling up Taylor is odd because they have to add him to the 40 man which you wouldn't do for a short call up. Does that mean Miller on the way out in a deal? Totally speculating here.

It's possible. They must have something in the works if that's the plan.

The irony is literally too great to put into words. The way this all turned out is utterly hilarious.

Irony and hilarity aside, it's a good trade. We gave up an often injured bullpen arm for a guy who was our best hitter last season.

Good move, hope they add another bat though. Assuming Morales returns to form, the Mariners suddenly have a pretty solid top of the lineup with James Jones, Robinson Cano, Kyle Seager and Kendrys Morales.

Miller is hitting .257/.315/.412 with 5 HRs and 15 RBIs over the past 40 games. Not exactly all-star numbers, but that projects as 20 HRs over a 162 game season.

Here is another out there thought; Bring back Morales (Cuban) and are heavy on Cuban showcasing Saturday. I heard Abreu picked White Sox because of Ramirez and another Cuban on the team. We now have Morales and Elias. I am a conspiracy guy obviously.

Hoping the M's at least match the best offer Rusney Castllo gets, then. If your theory works out, then the choice will be obvious.

All I have to say is "Wow", he spent so long trying not to be in Seattle, that's its really ironic that he's traded right back to Seattle.
